She tries to think of what to say. She looks pleadingly up at Tina.
“This one’s yours.” Tina says and grins, then takes a seat in the chair next to her.
“Well, people say that when someone’s kissing in front of others. They think that kissing like that should be done in private, which means another room.” Bette says and looks up at Tina who smiles back at her.
“Oh, okay.” William says “Which room?” He then asks and Tina burst out into a laughter again.
“Yeah, babe, which room?” She asks. Jessie also laughs, but tries to control hers.
“Which room? Well that doesn’t matter really. Just an empty room, where you can have some privacy.” Bette replies and hope that no more questions are coming.
“Okay.” He says and walks around the table and takes a seat. Tina move her hand onto Bette’s hand.
“Great answer babe. I can’t wait to our boys starts asking questions.” Tina says and smiles. They lean in for a quick kiss.
Jessie brings the breakfast. Egg and bacon.
“Here you go.” She says and place it in front of them.
“Thank you Jessie.” Tina says.
“Yeah, thank you.” Bette says and smiles up at her.
“You’re welcome.” Jessie replies.
A few hours has passed and Bette and Tina are getting the twins ready for their trip to the club with Bette. Tina is feeding one, while Bette is dressing the other and then they switch kid.
Bette is not saying anything, she’s quiet.
“Babe? Are you nervous?” Tina asks as Daniel is eating.
“Yeah, but not about Maxine I’m more nervous of what are where we’ll be in a week or two from now. And off course by meeting Julia.” Bette says.
“What do you mean a week or two?” Tina asks.
“Well, what if Julia turns out to be my daughter, will she be mad? Hate me, maybe that will transfer to us. That anger or hate or whatever it will be. What if you will realize what I actually did. I gave up my kid Tina. I’m hating myself, what is keeping you from hating me?” She says as tears starts to fall.
Daniel is finished, she puts him down in his crib. She gets up and walks over to Bette, she slide her arm around her.
“Babe, I told you, I’ll never hate you. You were a kid Bette. A kid with a kid. And since your mother didn’t want to help you, what else could you do? You gave her a chance at a better life, than you could’ve given her at the time. I understand why you went along with it. And I also know that you’ve regretted ever since. Because you told me, not with words but with your eyes. Babe, we’ll be fine. There might be a little anger floating around, if it turns out she is your daughter, but We’ll deal with it. I’m here, right beside you all the time.” Tina says. Bette turn towards her.
“Thank you For sticking with this crazy woman.” Bette says and give Tina a bug hug.
“My crazy woman. I love you Bette. Nothing’s gonna change that.” Tina whispers.
“I love you too.” Bette replies and smiles into Tina’s hair.
They got the twins settled in their car seat and carried them outside to the Tahoe, Bette fasten Daniel and Tina fasten Noah. Then Tina went around to the drivers side and to Bette.
“Will you be home before me or after?” Tina asks as Bette gets in.
“I think before. The meeting only lasts for about an hour or so.
“Okay, I’ll see you in a few hours then. Drive carefully, you have precious cargo with you. I love you.” Tina says and leans in through the window to a loving and soft goodbye kiss.
“I will, I know and I love you too.” Bette replies before she backs out of the driveway and heads for the club. Tina wave goodbye till they disappear down the street.

Will Bette Mother know where Bette ‘s daughter was all these years? If her Mother would have helped would Bette have kept the baby? Babies trying to raise babies. Sad, Hope Bette goes easy on Maxine. Time will come when Bette and Tina will have time to be alone. Will is such a sweet child. thanks
Hope Bette can have a talk with Maxine w/o bringing out her sharp claws. If Bette lets Maxine know that she dislikes what she did to her and that young man and subsequently to her with the adoption and tells her to keep her mitts off her life, maybe Maxine will leave well enough alone. Maybe Maxine has already learned her lesson, maybe not. I don’t remember how she feels about Tina and the babies. Thanks for the post. Post again soon please.

Bette and William are so sweet, especially, her trying to answer his questions. Glad Bette & Tina are talking things through and supporting one another. “…Family business…” that should be fun for them for a while. Thanks for the update, hope classes are going well.

I finally caught up with the story. Been busy and missed that last few chapters. I am really enjoying this story. I love the family being together and working together. I sure hope for Bette’s sake that Julia is her daughter and that they both can move forward and learn more about each other. Is Peter going to learn about his daughter also?
i miss the intimacy between B&T at least in ff we can ask for that..lol..ok i have to prepare myself to read Bette and mom´s chat it will not be pretty and i hope Bette say what she is feeling…her mom need to learn a lesson..great chapter cant wait for more thanks :o)
