A crush, a meeting then love?? – Chapter 64
Chapter 64
“So how about we start tomorrow, you can come by while Bette is at the club training?” Tina says.
“Yeah, so soon?” Jessie says now starting to get excited.
“Yes, tomorrow.” Tina replies.
Jessie smiles at Tina.
“Thank you Tina, you don’t know how much this means to me.” Jessie says after a few seconds.
“I’m glad to still be able to take pictures, and I’m happy to teach you what I can.” Tina says smiling back.
“Thanks again. I should be going. He hates that I’m late.” Jessie says silently to Tina.
“Yeah, remember what I said. You have to tell Stephanie. Okay?” Tina says in a concerned voice.
“I promise, I’ll tell her tomorrow after he left for work.” Jessie replies.
“Good.” Tina says giving her a supporting smile.
Jessie leans down for a hug goodbye.
Then Bette follows her out. They say goodbye to each other. And Bette walks back into the living room and sit down on the couch again.
“T? I didn’t plan on going to practice tomorrow.” Bette says.
“Why not? You can’t stop your life just because I’m in this thing.” Tina replies.
“Tina, I won’t be able to concentrate, when I know you’re home alone. What if you fall out of the chair or” Bette says, but is interrupted by Tina.
“Baby, you are playing. You need to do it. It will give you some time. The tournament will air on TV, so I’ll be able to see you. And I’ll ask Jessie to keep me company or Shane and Alice. I’ll be fine here.” Tina says.
“You have just been home for one day Tina. I don’t want to leave you here.” Bette says. She’s starting to get a little frustrated that Tina wants her out.
“Baby, look at me. I’ll be fine. You love that game Bette, and I know you will regret it if you don’t take the chance to play in the LPGA again.” Tina says.
Bette doesn’t reply, she just looks down on her lap and Tina’s legs. She starts to slowly massage them again. She starts to fight the tears, but they are too powerful. She starts to cry.
“Baby, what’s going on with you?” Tina asks concerned. She takes Bette’s hand and softly rubs it. “Please talk to me.” Tina says silently.

Your story is very touching, and warm. I throughly enjoy it…..I am however wondering if you’ll ever let us into the intimacies of B & T at this stage…u know 2 see how T reacts 2 B and vice versa….it’ll be interesting…atleast 4 me. Keep up the great work!!!!
thanks lauren. good chappy. doing a golf tournament on sunday. should be fun.
Oh Whoa Is Me! Lauren, please allow Tina a speedy recovery. I so hate these tear jerkin’ chapters….on so many levels!
Snatching the box of tissues I just know albeez keeps by the keyboard! Thank You (blowin)
Great chapter, as usual! Glad to see T leaning on B and learning to accept the situation. I am dying to see what it will be like for them the first time they make love (with T’s paralysis that is). Post soon.
i’m still wondering if these two truly have desire for each other?
i think Bette should stay with Tina i dont think Tina will feel confortable with somebody else if she need something like go to the bathroom and more if Tina fall down who is strong enough to hold her back to her chair? it is an unnecessary risk and it is too soon to be alone she need to get used to her limitation first and about the desire i feel that too they love each other soooo very much thats for sure but i dont feel sexual desire and passion between them and more about Bette she is kind gentle and attentive but Tina need feel desirible specially now.. i dont want Tina start to think that Bette no longer will want to be with her as her wife because her condition and start to get depressed ok i say to much..how many times do i have to say that im addicted to your story??? no more???..lol..still a sad chapter but great hope for good news soon thanks Lauren ;o(
hey thay pandora is still me..only without the 007…lol..
What a great story I am so glad Bette is so suportive of Tina and I hope this makes them stonger in the end.
thx for the B&T loving…
Lauren…this chapter is very touching. Bette doesn’t want to leave Tina alone, but what Tina said is true…Bette cannot always protect her and it’s not healthy anyway. Also, Bette still needs to go for the LPGA…if she doesn’t she’ll regret it and eventually resent Tina for it also. Just like Van…I was wondering how Bette & Tina would react to be intimate at this stage. Just wondering. Thanks for the chapter. Hope classes are going well.
waahhh. that was sweet and sad. post soon
Lauren, just been doing some catching up on your amazing story here….it sure brought back some memories for me, but I still love your story…do post soon
I hope Tina will get better soon….
Wow Bette is lovely and she is stong woman and she can carrie Tina everytime Tina want to go that is awesome. Ok let see what’s next, thanks!
Tina is such an example of bravery… Not only she does her best to keep a positive state of mind to fight her current situation, but she also does it for Bette, to support her crossing this inevitable insecure phase – mainly because her deep guilt feelings and fears.
It’s beautiful here to see how she let Bette help her, just to prove how much she trusts her and isn’t too proud to show her own weakness with her, enjoying a loving help. As Tina didn’t want to be out of Bette’s worries, the same way she let her share with her the harder part of her current physical situation. That’s how things must be to keep a right balance in their couple, after such a painful event.
That’s also why Tina is so right to ask Bette to keep her golf training. Yes indeed, it wouldn’t be good to always stay at home, worried for Tina : Bette has to keep moments for herself and her passion for golf, also to have emotional breaks far of Tina. That’s also the best thing to do. As Tina so rightly said here : “We have to have space, even if I’m in this thing.” For Tina, it will be her teacher’s work with Jessie. This way, each one of them will be able to keep this so essential thing : autonomy. Few moments far of cloudy thoughts and worries. This way, also, their moments together will become lighter – and more precious than ever.
It was a truly touching chapter, Lauren. You really master this engaging story, showing our favorite two through every possible life’s realistic events, mundane or intense, happy or sad, but always beautifully surrounded by a strong, shared and caring love. Thank you for that.
