    Author Notes:

    Bette comes home, Jessie has a hard time, she need a comforting hug.

    “Are you sure? I’ll be safe home?” Bette asks.

    “Yes, it was only surgery on your nose bone, not the airway. You’ll be fine. I’ll give you a few bandages to change it tonight and tomorrow morning. You can come back tomorrow afternoon.” He says.

    “Okay, thank you.” Bette says.

    “I’ll get the papers ready for you at the nurse’s station. It’ll be ready in 10 minutes.” he says.

    Bette reaches out her hand and says thank you to him. He leaves the room.

    “Wow, that was quick.” Bette says as soon as the doctor left.

    “Yeah. Babe, I asked Sarah to come and stay with me this weekend, would that be a problem now that you’re not going away?” Tina asks.

    “Off course not. I can spend some time over at the club. You two need the bonding time together.” Bette says and gets out of bed and changes her clothes from the hospital gowns to her own clothes. She leans down and kisses Tina on the forehead.

    “Let’s go home.” Bette whispers and wheels Tina out of the room and to the nurse’s station. The papers were ready to be signed and a little bag of bandages and things to wash the stitches with were in there.

    “You have to change tonight and tomorrow morning. And the doctor set up an appointment for you tomorrow at noon.” The nurse says.

    “Oh okay, thank you.” Bette says and they leave.

    Outside Bette is about to lift Tina when Tina holds out her hand to tell Bette to stop.

    “What?” Bette asks curiously.

    “I” She says and looks down on her foot. Then she looks up at Bette.

    “You? Did you?” Bette asks.

    “Yeah, I just moved my foot.” Tina says as a bright smile takes up her face.

    “Oh baby” Bette says and leans down and hugs Tina tight. “I knew it would be soon.” Bette whispers.

    Tina just smiles. Bette pulls away and looks at the foot. “Could you do it again?” Bette asks.

    Tina concentrates and after a few seconds the foot moves a little.

    “Wow. Let’s go home and I’ll massage those feet the rest of the day.” Bette says with a big smile and teary eyes.

    She lifts Tina into the car and puts the chair in back and then she drives off towards home.

    At the apartment:
    15 minutes later they parked outside of the apartment building. Bette helped Tina out and into the chair then they got inside.

    4. ohh i was not first this time :o( ..lol..you know they could call to the whole gang and start the move to the new house this weekend since Bette will not play golf and make a BBQ to celebrate they need some time without stress and have a good time together and Bette with the kids awww so cute and with Jessie Bette was great cant wait to see them with their own children..ok i know i have to wait..lol..another great chapter i cant get enough of your story LOVE IT..post soon Lauren and thanks :o)
