“Oh God, Oh God… why do things like this always happen to me?” Dana moaned as she slumped back against the stall wall in the girl’s bathroom.
“So you’ve had squirrels attack you before?” Tina couldn’t help but ask her best friend.
“You know what I mean. Tina, I’m going to be the laughing stock of the school for the entire year now!! Why couldn’t I just fall down the steps like I usually do? I mean, yes people would make fun of me for a while but that usually only lasts a couple days or a maybe a week tops! But nooooo. Instead there had to be a mentally unstable squirrel in the trashcan that likes to attack innocent bystanders.”
“Dane, I don’t think squirrels have the brain capacity to be considered mentally unstable.”
“Wait a minute, so you have to have enough brain capacity to be considered crazy? How does that make sense?” Dana asked, truly baffled.
“……The fact that I have no response to that should really worry me.” Tina said thoughtfully.
Dana ignored her to go back to her squirrel ravings. “He looked at me and smirked. That would be right around the time I freaked out.” Dana slumped even more against the wall.
“Uh-huh. I don’t think it’s possible for a squirrel to smirk Dana.”
“Well, this one smirked. I freaked out. And now I’m going to have to change schools. Will you come with me?” Dana gave Tina her best puppy-dog face, which was ordinarily very effective, however Tina just laughed.
“Fine. But I’m telling you T, this will be all over school. The school newspaper will no doubt run a story with some stupid headline like “Psycho Squirrel Attacks HS Tennis Player,” and then you’ll be wishing you’d agreed to transfer with me.”
“Dana, you’ll be fine! People were laughing at the squirrel, not you!”
“Really? You think so?” Dana asked, hope filling her face and voice.
“Sure! I mean, what kind of squirrel attacks people? It was so not your fault. I’m sure everyone will realize that you were the innocent victim and that it was clearly the fault of some crazy squirrel.” Tina said, fighting to keep her face as serious as possible.

LOL. Seriously. I know for sure that Squirrels do attack people. But how did it reach Dana’s face? Now that’s some funny stuff. And tina’s str8? So how’s bette going to get her? I can’t wait for this double date(*pout*..you promised). Post soon!
Hey, This story is great and very funny I giggle whenever I read it! Loved the bird story from Alice it reminds me heaps of my friends. One of my friends actually wont move if there is a bird on the ground somewhere near her, its pretty entertaining to watch. Thanks for the update! I will be waiting for the next one :)

I can never get enough of the fact that Alice and Dana can never get enough of each other. In almost every fic they’re swept away of their feet in an instant when they first meet. :D Dawsosn23 described it very well. Sigh…you just can’t not love them. Will Dana be interviewed by Alice next chapter??
I like the Bette/Alice interaction. They seem so different on the show. At times it’s hard to see them as ever being best friends. I love the way you have them balancing each other out.
first let me say thats crazy about the squerrle really attacking u! thats just halrious about Alice’s bird story it happened to me except with no bird poop involved thank goodness lol n e how awesome job once again! I love how neverous Dana is and how crazy Alice is lol :P Keep it up Bru :)
A bird attacked my friend it got caught in her windbreaker and I got a chance to watch both of the struggle for at least a minute and a half. You can’t imagine how hilarious it is in real life, I couldn’t help her I was laughing so hard. Great chapter I can’t wait to see how Alice makes the moves on the sexy teen tennis player. It’s good that Alice wasn’t embarrassed about the story I wouldn’t be it was funny and very like Alice to say. Can’t wait for the next post.
Ha, it was kind of funny that you actually used my newspaper headline in this. I still can’t belive that I wrote that. Anyways, it seems that Alice always knows what to say, especially when it has to do with Dana.I swear sometimes I laugh too hard when I’m reading this story. But I love it:) Good luck with the vacation and I hope that you post some more before you leave!
Just to ease your mind, you had me laughing at the first line of this story. And then I laughed all the way to the end. You have all four of the girls down perfectly, and I’m pretty sure if they ever did a high school show about them that they wouldn’t do nearly as good of a job as you. This story is so hilarious and just happy, and I love it! I can’t wait to see what happens with the four of them, and I can’t wait until Shane pops up in the picture! Great job! I’ll be waiting for those updates this week! :-)
Lol Alice sure knows how to break the ice huh? I can picture Dana standing there all nervous like, completely captivated by Alice, and Alice rambling on like there’s no tomorrow. Can’t wait to see what happens next..Please update soon!!
