Alice: “Yeah, Kit did ya get any action?”

Kit: “Bette my date with Sunny was just fine, thank you for asking and Alice, you know I don’t kiss and tell.”

Alice: “Come on, you can tell. Just a little bit, please?????”

Tasha: “Alice, stop. How are you Kit?”

Kit: “Good, thanks for asking. Although, I have to admit, I did need Helena to get back to work. I know, with all this Dylan shit she needs her time. But it’s tough, you know trying to run this place on my own. It’s a lot of work and I’m not as young as I used to be. My bodies letting me know that.”

Bette: “Kit, don’t let Helena take advantage of you.”

Kit: “She’s not taking advantage of me. She’s just dealing with some stuff right now.”

Bette: “Dealing with stuff or not. This business belongs to both of you and you shouldn’t be taking on all the work. Have you talked to her about this? Do you want me to talk to her?”

Tina: (touching Bette on the arm)“Bette”

Kit: “Don’t you go talking to anybody about my business, especially Helena right now. She’s in a bad place and you talking to her wont help. It will just make it worse. Believe me, I know, I‘ve tried to talking to her.”

Jenny: (thinking there could be a book in this: Rich heiress, aka Helena, falls in love with financially, struggling filmmaker aka Dylan. Plot: Helena decides to back Dylan’s film, only to find out that Dylan’s only after her money. Helena’s heart is broken not once but twice by Dylan. Of course, the names would have to be changed. Maybe Hedda for Helena and Diedra, yes Diedra for Dylan) “What do you mean Kit? I know Helena’s a little sensitive when it comes to Di……Uh, Dylan, but what I can’t figure out is why? Why? After everything Dylan’s done to her, tell me, I mean us.”

Shane, who has been sitting there quietly until now decides to speak after rolling her eyes at Jenny. Shane’s tired of it all. Everyone in everyone else’s business. She’s felt it, everyone having there opinion of her and Jenny. Then, there’s Jenny herself. What is she doing? Is she really thinking about writing a new best seller about our friends heartbreak. What the fuck, Jenny.

Shane: “That’s not too obvious Jenny. Kit don’t answer her.”

Jenny: “Shane, why must you be so rude. I was only asking Kit in concern for Helena.”

Shane: “Yeah, your concern for Helena and the story you can write about her. Don’t answer her Kit. Whatever’s going on with Helena and Dylan is there business.”

Alice: “What? Shane, Helena’s your friend. Dylan’s trying to hurt her.”

Shane: “I don’t know that. I don’t know Dylan well enough to know what her real feelings are. Do any of us? Do any of us really know how Dylan feels about Helena? You Alice, Jenny, me do any of us really know? (standing up from the table) I’m not judging her. I stood there and watched the “Test”. Hell, I even got Niki to be a part of it and you know what, I was wrong. We were all wrong. It was stupid. We were all just being stupid. Helena’s a grown woman. She can decide for herself who she wants to be with. And, you know what else, if Dylan is who that person is then I‘ll be happy for her. Plain and simple. Helena‘s my friend and her decision, her own decision about her own life is what matters to me. Even if I think it‘s the wrong decision, it’s still hers to make and I‘ll still be there for her.”

Helena: (hearing what Shane said as she came out of the office)“Thank you, Shane.”
