Bette nodded, “Does she have any children?”

“Nop”

“So what is she waiting for the clock is ticking… or in her case already broke”

“I think she’s happy like this, not everyone wants kids” Tina said looking pointedly at Bette.

“I feel there’s an hidden message between your words” Bette smiled.

“You do?” Tina smiled back leaning closer to Bette.

“I do” Bette replied kissing Tina.

“So Bette, what did you say you’re doing for a living?” Melissa asked.

“I didn’t, I work for the CAC” she smiled putting her hand on Tina’s thigh leaning a little into her. Tina’s hand went to Bette’s back caressing it, playing with her hair.

“That sounds fascinating” Melissa smiled.

“It’s ok”

“Modest too, Tina where did you find this girl?”

“Home depot” Bette replied “In the grills and accessories section.”

“Oh Bette you’re a hoot!” Melissa laughed.

Bette looked at Tina, “Heard that I’m a hoot” she smirked.

“You sure are” Tina smiled back.

“Tina look isn’t it your friend Linda?” Melissa asked.

“Where? Oh yeah” Tina gave a fake smile.

“You two were inseparable”

“Inseparable? Really?” Bette asked.

“She’s exaggerating”

“Like two peas in a pod”

Bette looked at Tina, “Two peas ha?”

Tina rolled her eyes. Bette got closer to Tina nuzzling Tina’s ear then kissing bellow her ear, “Do you miss her?”

“Who?” Tina asked eyes closed.

“Linda”

Tina brought her hand to Bette’s face so they will be face to face, looking deeply in her eyes “No one, NO one comes close to this” Tina said gently kissing Bette.

Bette smiled, ”No one?”

“No one”

“Careful you’ll make me feel special” Bette joked.

“You are, the most special person in the word for me” Tina seriously said.

Bette swallowed, “You too”

“Dinner is served” They heard the butler saying, “I guess I should go back to my seat” Bette sadly said.

Bette ate her dinner when she suddenly felt Tina’s leg rubbing hers. She looked up and looked at Tina who smiled back. Bette raised her eyebrow when she felt Tina’s leg rubbing higher.

“Stop it” Bette hissed.
