“Bette, I can’t believe you stood up to Melvin that way, I thought he was going to have heart attack” Tina started to laugh
“I did stand up to him didn’t I?” Bette starting laughing “Oh my God T, did you see that look on his face I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his sockets”
They were both laughing hysterically now, as they reached the planet Tina quickly got out of the car and opened the driver side door for Bette and gave her a great big hug. Bette couldn’t help but take in a deep breath; she took in Tina’s scent of lavender and berries. ‘God she smells good’ she thought to herself.
“What was that for?” Bette asked
“That’s for coming to my rescue”
“In that case you’re welcome” Bette replied
“Come on lets go have breakfast” Tina said as she pulled Bette towards the restaurant
They spent the whole day together enjoying the many different pieces of art and exhibitions at the museum, Tina always enjoyed this time with Bette. This is where Bette was in her element art was her passion and Tina loved hearing her opinions and takes on each piece, Tina’s love of the art was Bette’s doing.
It was close to 8:00pm as Tina was driving Bette back home.
“So, what are you doing tonight T?”
“I’m meeting the girls at Shane’s girlfriend house, for another graduation party”
“Shane has a girlfriend?” Bette asked
“Oh, yeah Shane is gay too”
“And you’re going to live with her?”
“Yes, I’m going to share and apartment with her…”
“I dint think that’s such a good idea T” Bette spoke fast.
“Whaaat? Tina asked “Look Bette, Shane’s my best friend, trust her completely”
“Oh, so she’s your best friend now?”
“Well aside from you, yes.”
Tina was always amused when Bette acted like a baby when she didn’t get her way, Bette always seemed so in control of her emotions it was fun to see her come undone Tina figured she was probably the only one who got to see that side of Bette.
“Fine whatever” Bette pouted and turned her head to look out the window.

Hey iluvmuzic, The gals are inching them way nearer together at every turn. Their failure to accept and acknowledge fully theior attraction to one another is so adorable. I loved when Bette got all uppity with Melvin over his dismissal of Tina’s choice of persuing Film Studies degree. Soo cute.Even after the museum, these girls circle around their real feelings.
