“Mine did. I’m not a bit hung over anymore.” Dana said.

“You won’t be saying that later.” Tina said taking the empty pitcher back into the house.

The doorbell rang.

“Will somebody stop that damned ringing?” Alice yelled.

Tina smiled and headed for the front door. The doorbell rang again.

“Who is it?” Tina said.

“Kit” She said. Tina quickly opened the door.

“Jesus, I’ve been worried out of my mind. Don’t you guys know how to answer the phone?” Kit said.

“Sorry Kit we left them down stairs and well the girls aren’t really in any condition to be walking to a phone let alone answering one.” Tina said.

“Well are you guys okay? When you didn’t show up for breakfast I got worried.” Kit said.

“We are all fine, as you see. Well, some of us are. .” Tina said.

“Drunk as hell.” Kit said walking out onto the patio.

“Hey sis.”  Bette said raising her glass instead of waving.

“Well I see you guys aren’t coming to the party tonight.” Kit said.

“Shit. Kit we forgot.” Tina said.

“It’s okay. Looks like you guys have partied enough for today as it is.” Kit said.

“We’re not finissshed.” Alice slurred spilling her drink.

“I see that.” Kit said laughing.

“Do you want to join us? I think there is some Pepsi in the fridge.” Bette said.

“No I can’t stay. I have to get back to work. I just wanted to check on you all.” Kit said.

“Okay.” Bette said.

“Oh before I go. Tina a guy named Leo called. He wants you to call him. I guess he couldn’t get you either.” Kit said. Bette stood up and walked towards Tina and Kit when she heard Leo’s name.

“Is everything okay?” She asked.

“He said that everything was fine he just would like to speak to Tina as soon as she can call him.” Kit said.

“I’ll call him now.” Tina said.

“Thanks sis.” Bette said.

“No Problem, I’ll check on you girls in the morning.” She said.

“Bring coffee. Bette’s coffee sucksss” Alice slurred.

“Okay.” Kit said laughing as she left.
