    An Artist Dinner……

    Chapter 8

    Tina is standing in her closet searching for something to wear tonight. She tosses clothes over her shoulder and onto the floor.

    "I forgot about this one." Tina said pulling a black sleeveless dress out of the closet. She stepped in front of the mirror and held it up in front of her.

    "I just hope it still fits." She said. She pulled it up and zipped it up the side. She admired herself in the mirror. She brushed her hands down her body and smiled. "It fits perfectly."

    RING RING RING

    "Hello. Hi honey. No I am just getting dressed. She is, that’s cool. Honey I am sure you and Peggy’s daughter will get along great and if you don’t it will be okay. Okay honey I love you too and you have fun too. bye." Tina hung up the phone and took one last look in the mirror before grabbing her purse and keys.

    At the Gallery………

    Bette greeted her guests as they arrived with a smile. However at the sight of each one of them not being Tina fear grew inside of her. She was afraid that something would come up and she wouldn’t make it.

    "I wish you would relax. You are making me crazy." Alice said shoving a drink in Bette’s hand.

    "I wish I could. It’s just…." Bette said. She stopped when she saw this breathe taking blond walking in the front door of the gallery.

    "I see what all the fuss is about." Alice said and walked off towards a red head she had been eyeing all night.

    Bette couldn’t take her eyes off of Tina. Tina waltzed in like there was nothing to it. She had this air of confidence that Bette had herself. She admired every curve every inch of Tina.

    Tina stepped in the door full of confidence. She knew she looked good bye the way Bette was watching her. Tina was looking at Bette the same way. The white power suit that she was wearing dipped dangerously down into Bette’s cleavage. Tina almost went weak at the knees but somehow managed to keep her composure.

    "Tina. I am glad you are here." Bette said kissing Tina on both cheeks.
