    Alice passes out..Bette grabs her keys off of the table…She runs out the house yelling…

    Bette: ALICE HAS BEEN HURT. CALL 911 AND TELL ME THAT THERE IS A WOMAN IN ALLEY #22 WHO HAS BEEN RAPED AND BEATEN. THE ALLEY IS IN SOUTH CENTRAL

    Bette runs to her car and she starts the engine…Tina grabs the phone and calls the police….Bette races in her car to find Alice…

    Bette: Where the ***** is public alley#22?….

    ROUTE 110 HIGHWAY

    Bette speeds down the highway in hope of finding Alice…She prays the whole time asking god for forgiveness…She repents over and over and promises to be a better friend to Alice…She arrives in South Central…The area is dangerous full of alot of crime including drugs gangs and prostitutes…The environment doesn’t feel welcoming at all…She approaches a neighborhood filled with trash and needles on the ground…She is afraid to ask someone where public alley#22 is…But she doen’t have a choice…Her friend may be dying and she has to get to her atleast to make sure that the EMT’s arrived and that she will be ok…Tears begins to form again in her eyes…She clinches the steering wheel and takes a deep breath…There are two women coming her way…She rolls her window down a bit…Just about an inch and a half from the top

    Bette: Excuse me. Excuse me I’l talking to you

    The two women turn towards Bette…They approach her car slowly…One woman stays near the side walk while the the other women walks up to the window

    Woman: Can I help you?

    Bette: Yes. I am looking for public alley#22

    Woman: You are two blocks from it. You go straight down about two blocks and then you take a sharp right. It’s the alley behind the abandoned apartment buildings. If I were you I’d be careful going down there all by yourself. There is alot of crime that happens in that back alley

    Bette: Thank you. Thanks alot

    Woman: Your welcome and be safe

    Bette: You too

    Bette pulls of…She rolls her window back up and she takes a deep breath…She follows the womans directions just when and ambulance truck went past her coming in the opposite direction…Bette follows the truck as she pulls up into public alley#22…She hops out the car and runs over to Alice…She puts her hand over her face and she walks over to her…She takes her shirt off and places it over her friend…She covers her nude body…Her tears fall down past her cheek as she watches her helpless body lay on the dirty pavement…

    1. oh my..im shocked..and pray is the only thing to do in this case..hope Alice be ok and they find out who did this to her and i refuse to believe that Helena is behind this..ok great but SAD chapter post soon!!! :o(

    2. What a way to mend a friendship. I do hope at some point Alice uses her wonderful sense of humor to deal with this. She will need it to deal with the pain as time moves on. Please post another chapter soon.

    3. Did it have to get this bad before Bette got over gerself? And Tina needs to suck it up. But I guess if you don’t see and render care to broken bodies for a living, it might make you a little queezy. She’s such a girl.

    4. Even though the events that took place were unimanginable, you did a fantastic job telling the story. Its not Bette’s fault, and I know her and Tina will take care of Alice. Big question is what the heck was she doing in South Central, no place for Alice.
