“Excuse me?!” Alice exclaimed, spilling her coffee.
“I saw Tina again…” Bette said. She had just come back from her morning run and was now eating breakfast with The Gang.
“What the fuck is she doing here?” Alice asked, she was still shocked.
“She divorced The Asshole and moved back here.” Was the harsh replay of Bette.
“What about Angie?” Helena asked.
“She’s Henry’s daughter I guess.” Bette answered a sad look on her face. Shane laid her hand on Bette’s shoulder.
“She isn’t his daughter, she’s yours.” She said to Bette.
“Shane, she stopped the adoption procedure. Legally, I’m nothing.”
“Bette, you are Angelica’s mother period.” Alice said.
“Pff, whatever…” Bette said not really knowing what she could say otherwise. She shook Shane’s hand of and stood up. Without another word, she stood up and walked out of the café.
“I’m going to find Ms. Kennard and have a talk with her.” Alice said. She took her laptop and opened it.
“How are you going to find her?” Helena asked.
“Well, there must be some lesbian that knows where Tina is. I just post a photo of Tina on Our Chart and see what reaction we get.” Alice said.
“Okay, Alice. Do what you want. I’m going to look for Bette.” Shane said.
She stood up and walked out of The Planet. She jumped in her car and drove to Bette’s house. Her SUV wasn’t in the driveway so she figured Bette wasn’t home. She turned around and drove to the park where Bette had seen Tina again. She parked her car and walked into the green area. She was walking around for about 10 minutes when she saw Bette sitting under a tree, crying. Shane ran to Bette and kneeled in front of the sobbing brunette. She touched Bette’s arm.
“Bette? Are you alright?” Shane asked.
“I’m fine.” Bette said with a broken voice. Shane sits next to Bette. She didn’t say anything. She knew Bette would eventually talk if she needed to. And she was right…
“I just can’t believe she took my little baby away… Angelica probably doesn’t even know who I am. I’m so angry with Tina and still… I feel so much love for her. I never stopped loving her, Shane. She looked so beautiful. When she took my hand in hers, God, I felt like I was alive again. But then, she left and I felt like a bus, a plane and a fucking bulldozer had hit me. It hurtled so much to let her go again… I… I think I want her back, I’ve always wanted her back but now I feel like I really have to get her back. I don’t think I can survive without her much longer. Really, Shane… I want her back, I want my daughter back… I just want my damn life back.” Bette had tears running down her face.

The story is great for it’s idea! If there was a sixth star it would be my choice for the story. The problem is that I don’t like how weak is Bette or how could you have Alice talk about Bette like this. It’s nothing to do with Alice. Now I can be accused for not knowing how to love completely, but you have to earn my forgiveness. It’s just how I live my life and I expect from myself what I expect from others (probably I am more demanding with me). I said all this because wanting someone back after taking away my child and leaving with someone else (man or woman, I don’t give a fly. It wouldn’t be easier if Tina had left with Helena), no matter how much I loved them I wouldn’t take them back in a blink of an eye. No matter how shitty Tina’s life have been with Henry I don’t know how this has anything to do with Bette. Bette’s main focus should be Angelica and not Tina. So, althought you have a great story, I don’t like the way the characters react. And since I’m a bit angry with your characters, my choice for the stars would be minus if I had the choice. But because you don’t like less than four to your stories, I won’t touch the rating. But I said to you before, remove the choice from your list or take the rating like a big girl. Anyway, I guess it’s your story and your characters and I want to see where you are taking them so don’t be mad because of my comment, I have the right to tell my opinion!

If I were in your shoes I wouldn’t pay much attention to theo’s comment. She is more mad with me than with your story! ;)But I’m with her for the rating part. If you don’t like the rating being less than four stars you can remove them. As for the characters, I don’t know if I like the fact that Bette has no pride left. She acts like a lost puppy. Don’t get me wrong, I would be the same devastating mess if I was her, but I believe that I would have some pride left to at least not show it that much. And since I don’t like Alice much, you can understand that telling all these shits about Bette to someone who hurt Bette so much is not my favourite part.
hey love the story but I must admit I am glad they did not go this route in the show…that could have been a show stopper for me..anyway can’t wait for this next disucssion

Loving the story. I’m mad with Tina because she didn’t forget Bette, but decided to stay with Henry all of these years. I want Bette strong to deal with Tina’s back and the first question that Tina needs to answer is that Angelica is not Henry’s daughter; to give Bette some hope! Please, update soon

i do love your story but, i have to agree w/ theotlv and lizmar, bette seems to lost all her pride after tina left her. and i dont’ expect her reaction upon seeing tina who took her daughter away from her. and alice, i can’t believed she reveal bette’s life for five years…. I just felt like it’s so out of character for alice to go behind bette….But i do love this story…please continue.
