Alice smiles mischievously.
Alice – Yes, ma’am!
Bette walks over to the woman without reservations, a sexy smile forming on her face. She approaches the blonde and invades her personal space.
Bette – Do you wanna dance?
The platinum blonde grins excitedly.
Woman – You bet!
The brunette grabs the woman’s hand and heads to the dance floor.
Chapter 2 Breakfast at the The Planet
Tina’s apartment, late night: Tina is watching TV looking distracted.

Flashback, Bette Porter Gallery, night: Bette and Tina smile at each other after Eric makes his way to Catherine Opie.
Tina – Your gallery is … amazingly beautiful!
Bette – Thank you! I assume it is your first visit?
Tina – Yes!
Bette – Welcome! I have known Eric for a while and he visits often. I’m surprised that he didn’t bring you earlier.
Tina – We haven’t been dating for long.
Bette – Ah …
Tina – Just a few months.
Bette – I see. (pause) He is a very … charming man. You’re lucky!
Tina smiles.
Tina – Yeah … thanks!
The brunette smiles charmingly.
Bette – But I believe he is way luckier …
Tina chuckles, blushing slightly.
Bette – I’m sorry … I didn’t intend to make you uncomfortable.
Tina – No! You didn’t …
She presses her lips together.
Tina – It’s just … surprising to receive this compliment from a … stunning woman like yourself.
The gallery owner is taken aback.
Bette – Thank you!
She teasingly smiles.
Bette – I’m trying not to blush.
Tina – I’m sure you are used to this kind of compliment.
She looks down shyly.
Bette – One can never get used to this kind of compliment coming from a gorgeous woman … like yourself.
They look into each other’s eyes with smiles on their faces.
Eric joins them, breaking their moment.
Eric – I talked to Catherine.
Bette – Oh …
She smiles politely.

The catchy song of a car commercial playing on the TV goes unnoticed by the blonde, who bites her fingernail with a smile on her face. It was a little too bold to say that, wasn’t it? She chuckles. But it was the truth! Maybe knowing that Bette is a lesbian emboldened her. Maybe it just felt good … flirting with a lesbian. A new experience … just for fun. It felt good for sure when she saw the gallery owner’s reaction. She could swear that the brunette’s eyes sparkled. And then when Bette called her gorgeous … something at that moment felt really good inside!

Nice beginning story. I have read several beginning stories of Tibette but not this one. They all have their individual characteristics and story lines from their meeting at the gallery until they become a couple. Since the bridge from meeting to becoming a couple was never covered in the original series, its wide open for a writers imagination and interpretation. I already like your Tina a lot. Can’t wait to see where you take us on this journey.. Post when you can.

Excellent story, very good start, I know there are many stories about the earring, but I know that this one because you are writing it, will be different and especial.
Poor Bette, she feels that she lost her gaydar, but indeed she didn’t, she felt that Tina was “in” and that was true, the situation is that Tina was perhaps too alienated with the straight life that she thinks she is a straight girl and even has a boyfriend, but her attraction for Bette and the feelings she starts developing talk by themselves.
Now, is Tina who has to find out what or who she really is and what she wants.
Bette, as usual, is making her life, but I believe she is very impressed by this Tina Kennard.
