”I love my job and what I do.”
”I don’t understand then why are you quitting?”
Tasha didn’t answer and pauses.
Malcolm picking up on Tashas hesitation figures out what is going on, “She must be very special.”
”What makes you think it’s over a woman, “Tasha says in shock.
“Alice is her name right?”
“Wait—how do you know about Alice?”
“Before I hire someone I like to get a feel of who they are beforehand. I know you two were married before you were taken as a P.O.W.”
Tasha was speechless she had no idea Malcolm knew all this information about her.
”You know why I came to California?”
”To be a director and chase your dreams.”
“You know that picture sitting on my desk?”
“Yes, the one with the beautiful red-headed woman in it?”
“Yes, that’s my wife Kristen and the woman I moved across country for. See that’s how you know a person is the one when you find yourself doing things you wouldn’t normally do just to please them. That’s how you know there worth holding on to so, trust me when I say I’ve been in your shoes.”
Feeling more comfortable Malcolm was making it that much easier for Tasha to walk away.
”I want to say thank you for giving me the opportunity to work for your company and introducing me to some really great people. What you are accomplishing there is great and I’m thankful for being a part of it even if it was for a short period of time.”
”Tasha I know you love your job.”
”Yes, but I love her more.”
The truth is Malcolm not only liked Tasha but he needed her more than she needed him. He knew from the moment he met her that she wasn’t driven by power or money. She took pride in her work. He knew no amount of money would get her to change her mind but thought he’s try anyway. She had to choose between her job and the woman she loved and for Tasha that decision was a no brainer.
”Thank you for everything.”
”No, thank you Tasha we’re going to miss you around here.”
“I’m going to miss you guys to look I just realize I’m going to have to fly back to Italy I have some loose ends to tie up like packing my clothes and bringing my dog back. What should I do with my condo key?”

That was great. I greatly appreciate you and this story because Tasha and Alice are my favorite couple and it’s rare to find a story solely focused on them, so thank you very much.
Thanks…….I love this site although Bette and Tina dominate the majority of the stories on this site there was nothing I could find where the storyline focused primarily on Alice and Tasha. I’m not a writer but hell I figured why not create something and bring it to the light. I enjoyed all the characters even Jenny’s bride of chuckys ass thought it would refreshing to see a different story with two different main characters.
Still wondering who Angie is hooking up with. Enjoyed it, thanks
