ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE — Chapter 17
Bette was just emptying the car of all the stuff she had filled it with that morning when she had set off with Alice, Lara and the boys for a day in the country – they has started with a hike – with Bette carrying Zak , stopped for a huge Sunday lunch followed by games in the park and finally a swim at the local pool. Zak was already asleep even though it was another hour before his usual bedtime, Josh was helping Lara put up his packed lunch for school tomorrow and Dan was in his room doing his English homework which she had allowed him to put off until Sunday night – she grinned – Emily would never have allowed her son that amount of freedom. Maybe she was too lenient with all three of them but they deserved some fun – they were three terrific kids.
Bette was just collecting a wet towel from the back seat when she heard a car pull up behind hers. She glanced out of the back seat to see Tina’s red SUV park and the blonde was looking straight at her. Bette locked the car and waited for Tina to get out of the car and unload the three bags of shopping from the back.. Tina beamed at Bette
“Hey there “
“Hey – do you need a hand in with that shopping – it looks heavy “ Bette raised her eyebrows
“It is “ Tina agreed as Bette took a bag. She followed the blonde inside her house. As soon as
the front door was shut both women dropped the bags and began kissing passionately
“I have missed you so much “ Bette muttered between kisses

“I’ve missed you too – god Bette – I’m going crazy with need for you “
“I feel the same – when you left last night – you have no idea how wet I was “

Tina stroked Bette’s face – she was such a classic beauty
“I know we both agreed that we should let it happen when are both ready but there are such a thing as our families to take into account “

VERY NICE chapter Ally, I am sooooooo glad that Bette was able to and allowed to comfort Tina. Sometimes kids are smarter than adults LOL. Ollie needs to gfo home and get his weak ego stroked by someone who cares and is now his official stroker. He was soooo out of line for talking like that in front of his children. If he tries that crap in front of Bette, she will let him know that he can’t talk to HER WOMAN that way. Note to Ollie, You can’t have you cake and eat it too. Tina is too good of a catch to leave sitting on the shelf and expect for her to stay there, DUMB A**. PPS :o).
maybe Ollie didn’t get something something from his bf while his kids were there and he was horny as well LOL…i’m glad Bette was there for Tina
What the hell Ollie, your boyfriend didn’t give you some on the weekend that you being ass and hurt Tina and your kids like that, what an asshole. Good Bette is there for Tina. Ok let see more please, thanks!

Ollie not only wants the cake but the ice cream that goes with it. He needs to settle for the cake and let Bette have the ice cream.
Hey, you know that this: “Dan found mine about two years ago – I said it was for my bad shoulder” was very funny? LOL Im having the cramps here and you made me laugh. Great chappy, good to see the twists – Ollie was a jerk big time. I liked L Wing a lot too but I cant leave 2 comments or Ill die here! Off to rest some!

Bette’s going to have have that talk about Emily so that she and Tina can move on… What a self-serving tosser Ollie is… I can’t believe he said that. I don’t think he’d have the guts to start that crap in front of Bette. Post soon!

With behavior like that it makes me very nervous that Ollie carries a weapon for his work.
Ally, It is so pleaseing to read about this new and tentative union between Bette and Tina. Shame that Ollie was such a dick there. It did bring Tina and Bette closer together. It was amazing that Madison instinctively when to get Bette when her mom was so unset. This shows just how much the gals have picked up and accepted. Children just deal with the here and now. It was just delicious. Now Bette and Tina really need to make the effort and consumate their love. So far the kids have been the easy part but I am sure that there will be bumps in the roads as the journey continues. Still an absolute delight and pleasure to read. Ollie is a dick. He is allowed to be happy but Tina can’t? Get over yourself. Grow up. I hope the girls are happy about her dating Bette. Also, I’m a little nervous about the Emily conversation. Being divorced is so much less messy than being widowed in a lot of ways. PPS.
