Chapter 19
After leaving Angie, Bette and Tina made their way back to her apartment. The cab ride back, was a relatively quiet one. Once arriving at the apartment, Bette paid the driver and escorted her wife up the stairs and into the building.
Getting changed for bed, the two cuddled up under the sheets and talked about their day.
Tina had been impressed with Angie’s new show, so she questioned Bette about her thoughts on it.
“So, you haven’t really said much about the new show. Do you like the pieces Ang has selected?”
Bette was distracted by thoughts of the one piece of art that should be shown but that Angie refused to add and didn’t fully hear what Tina had asked.
“Sorry Babe, what did you say?”
“I asked what you thought of the pieces in Ang’s new show. Bette, you are a million miles away, is something wrong?”
“No, there is nothing wrong. I was just thinking about something.”
“Care to share?”
Bette wasn’t sure what to say to Tina. She knew Tina would understand her feelings about the wonderful piece of art Lyndsay had created, but was it fair to engage Tina in her sure to come battle of wills with Angie??…..She was sure if she explained the significance of the piece to Tina, she could get her to side with her…..but was that fair to Angie???
“It’s really nothing T, I was just thinking about a piece and if it’s displayed correctly or not……it’s really no big deal…….and since our daughter is not at home, I can think of a much better way to spend my time.”
With that, she rolled Tina over onto her back and quickly moved her body to lie on top of her. Leaning down she started a kiss softly and gently at first, but one that quickly grew in passion and intensity. Tina felt the heat start to rise between her legs as Bette continued to kiss her.
As Tina’s need for her wife continued to rise, she slipped her hands under Bette’s shirt and ran her hands across her back. Slowly dragging her nails up and down Bette’s back, she felt the muscles tighten as Bette became acutely aware of the sensation of her touch.

Fantastic job. The whole time I’m praying that no one at work walks into my office, cos I don’t think I would have been able to say anything. What a great job of showing that no matter how long they’ve been together B&T still have it. Okay, she wasn’t butt naked but greating Angie in a negligee at the door was good. I’m with Angie though, where do they go from here. Why does Lynsday have to go back, she seems to be well known can’t she design from anywhere.

Wow Taz…everyone in that chapter was happy…right until the end. Poor Angie! I don’t think Lyndsay can just walk away from Angie…not after that declaration of love, so I know you’re going to fix it. That was beautifully written Taz!
SMOOOOOOOOKING HOT!!! How you could EVER question your ability to write a “proper” NC17 is beyond me girl. You were spot on as you described each and every detail. Gotta love that tribing! Hee Hee. Looks like BOTH those Porter gals have it going on eh? LOL! I love how tender and gentle Ange was when she saw Lyndsay starting to feel a little discomfort. Well you sure didn’t hit a hook with this story. Unless you count the fact that you have all of us hooked on this story LOL. Your drive was straight and true with this chapter, well struck ball. Now that they have connected physically, they need to get it together mentally. Lyndsay can not just drop everything and move to NYC, just like Angie can not just move to NC. Lyndsay is going to need time and support from Angie. GREAT job Taz, PPS :o).
Yeah, that was a nasty letdown postcoital non-buzz. This gyrl keeps giving our Ange a hard time; kind of kisses and runs!!! But then she is a leznewbie so having problems with commitment much??? NC17s were excellent, both of them. PPS

OMFG! *Loud claps* After these extraordinary steamy scenes, you are totally forgiven for the cliffie. We loved how you describe both intimate moments. The solid bond that B&T have shared throughout the years and the new love that Angie and Linds have found. We think that Angie needs to diggest Lindsays’s proposal. However, now it seems difficult, after they had such a delightful time. The way we see it, Angie has one week to use her Porter-Kenard charm to capture Linds’ attention and let Angie in her life.
