Alex; Two girls, one cup.

Alice: Odd name.

Alex shrugged and popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth. It started and she smile wide, watching the two girls make-out. Then, the picture changed to a girl taking a dump.

Alice: What the hell?

Alex watched in horror as her worst nightmare happened. She quickly turned off the tv.

Alex: WHAT THE FUCK?

Alice: OH my God, that did NOT just happen!

Alex got up and started to pace the floor before going over, ripping the DVD out and snapping it in half.

Alex: I am NEVER watching that again!

Alice: I’m never watching porn again!

Alex: ok, wow I need a chaser after that. Some thing super tame. Erm erm.

She ran over to the stack of DVDs and whipped through them.

Alex: The Backyardigans you are my savior.

She kissed the case, before putting in her son’s favorite DVD, then sitting back and watching the colorful animals dance across the screen. She sighed.

Alice: I never thought I’d be happy to watch this again!

Alex: me neither.

They watched the DVD, until both were bored and had completely forgotten about the mishap earlier. Alex fell asleep in Alice’s lap. Alice looked down, stills stroking the short, disheveled hair. She smiled, feeling Alex’s even breath across her lap. She leaned over and placed a small kiss on the woman’s forehead. Alex gently nuzzled her, pushing her face into Alice’s stomach, and wrapping her arms around her waist. Alice smiled, loving the contact. She wished she could carry Alex to their bed, but Alex was heavy. She smiles, remembering all the times she’d been carried to bed by the athlete beneath her. How she loved this woman. This feeling went even past love and eternity. Alex was the other half of her soul. She felt the spiritual connection. She had felt it that very first day and knew that it would outlast this lifetime, as well as many others. This, this was greater than death. This was until the end of time itself. Until there was absolutely nothing left. She ran her finger down the soft skin surrounding her, and Alex stirred, blinking sleep out of her eyes.

Alex: Urmpff. I fall asleep?

Alice smiled and nodded.

Alex: You alright?

Alice: I love you.

Alex: I love you too

Alice came down and kissed her. She smiled. They softly let their lips linger for a while, just being warm and gentle, and tender, until Alice pulled away and yawned.

Alex: Bedtime for mommy.

Alice smiled, then Alex stood up, and pulled her into her arms.

Alex: Need a lift?

Alice: MM, my warrior!

Alex smiled and carried the woman of her dreams to their room.
