Knock! Knock!
“how are you holding up?” Alice asked as she downed a turkey and cheese sandwich.
“I’m good. Thanks for asking”.
“Dana’s not home yet” she took another bite of the sandwich
“I beg your pardon?”
“Dana? She’s the other person that lives here too. She’s not here at the moment. She’s out watching her niece and newphew. I can’t wait for you to meet them. They’re adorable.” she stepped into the room. “so, do you like your room?”
“I love it. It’s beautiful thank you”. Bette walked over and hugged Alice. “thank you so much. I don’t know what I would of done without your help. This place is unbelievable. I knew you were living it up, but I didn’t think like this. I have to admit you have surprised me. I am thrilled to be here, and sleeping underneath the same roof”.
“your welcome Bette. You took care of me when I was unemployed and no where. Cut it out and stop thanking me will ya. Your making me blush”. she flashed her lashes at the brunette
“oh shut up”. Bette shook her head and walked backed over to her suitcase. Alice walked over to the bed and she sat down.
“you know I have a hot tub, and a swimming pool in the backyard?
“no way. Are you fucking serious?” Bette ran over to the window. She peered out. “oh my god, you wasn’t fucking kidding. I can’t believe it. Damn, congratulations Alice. I am so proud of you. The house, the car, and the hot tub. Girl you have out beat me”.
“no I haven’t. Because, regardless, you are still a winner. You’ve had it all, and lost it all. I’ll give you 6 months. By then you’ll be shaking and baking. You’ll be on your feet in no time”
I heard the front door open. Alice jumped off the bed and ran down the hall. She gazed over the banister.
“who is it?”
“it’s me Tina. I’m home”
“Tina, what are you doing right now?”
“nothing. I was just about to make me a sandwich. Why?”
“Come upstairs for a second. I want you to meet a friend of mine”. Alice made her back to Bette’s room. She collapsed on the bed.

Like the way this one is starting. Its good that Bette is not some hot-shot but just a regular person… seems like she is running from something in Florida. I’m loving that Alice is so together… can’t wait to see where this one goes!

Yes another different Bette and Tina beginning, it’s amazing how they automatic have an intense chemistry no matter how they met or what age they are, I’m know this is about to be good
