    Bette smiled from ear to ear.

     

    Bette:  It was great.  She took me to Catalina Island.

     

    Angus:  “Uhhh.  Swanky”

     

    Bette:  “It was.”

     

    Pause.

     

    Angus:  “so if you don’t mind me asking, are you and Tina over?”

     

    Pause

     

    Bette:  “I dunno really.  I do know that Tina has been doing whatever she wants, so now I am too.”

     

    Angus:  “Fair enough”

     

    Harmony’s apartment

     

    Ding Dong

     

    Harmony doesn’t answer.

     

    Ding Dong

     

    She runs to the door.

     

    Harmony:  “Roxanne.  What are you doing?”

     

    Roxanne:  “What?”

     

    Harmony:  “Where’s your key?”

     

    Roxanne:  “I have it, I just didn’t want to barge in just incase she was here.”

     

    Harmony rolled her eyes.

     

    Harmony:  “Oh please Rox when did that ever stop you before?”

     

    Roxanne follows her back to the bedroom where she commences her unpacking.

     

    Roxanne:  “so.How was it?”

    Harmony:  “Fantastic.  She is phenomenal!  Smart, funny, sexy as hell.  Everything I’ve ever wanted.  Not to mention she’s quite talented in the sack.’

     

    Roxanne:  “Please.  Spare me.”

     

    Harmony laughs.

     

    Roxanne:  “so yourah.head over heals, huh?”

     

    Harmony got a little sad.

     

    Harmony:  “Painfully so. 

     

    Pause.

     

    Harmony:  “I told her I loved her Roxy.”

     

    Harmony sat down on the bed close to Roxanne as she did whenever she was sad.  Close enough to smell her perfume, shampoo, breath.  Roxanne found it hard to concentrate.

     

    Roxanne:  “What happened?”

     

    Harmony:  “I knew she didn’t feel the same way so I told her she didn’t have to say it back.”

     

    Roxanne:  “But you wanted her to?”

     

    Harmony nodded.  Roxanne looked sad.

     

    Roxanne:  “I’m sorry babe.  Maybe she will say it soon.”

     

    Harmony:  “yeah maybe.  I know she cares but I’m not sure how much.”

     

    Roxanne:  “Well like I said before give it time.  Time tells all secrets.”

     

    Harmony put her head on Roxanne’s shoulder and put her arms around her waste.

     

    Harmony:  “I missed you bud.”

     

    The closeness of Harmony made Roxanne’s heart swell.  Then the faint scent of another woman emerged off Harmony’s person and Roxanne felt disgusted.  She got  up.

    Roxanne:  “Yeahahyou too.”

     

    Harmony went back to unpacking.  She like Bette had a tendency to not notice what was right in front of her face when her thoughts were elsewhere.

    2. Excellent update. It’s great to have a confident loving Bette in charge again and if she finds her happiness with Harmony…. then so it is. Tina needs to decide if she really wants Bette back, before she attempts to play any minds games with Bette. Poor Roxy, she seems to be caught in the same dilemna that Alice faced when Dana was with Tonya. But Bette and Harmony as sooo good together…. I’m not sure how I want your story to end either…. so let it continue to write itself. Thanks for the Good Work, Vibes.

    5. I didn’t see this coming; way to brong the drama. I love Harmony and Bette together but there is a little part of me that will always want Bette to be w/ Tina. I’ inclined to say it’s too little too late for Tina b/c I don’t want to see Harmony hurt. I’ll wait to see where you take this ; post soon please….I’m addicted to this story even more so w/ this recent development.

    10. I’m not quite as vested in Roxy, but Tina be honest and if you want her go get her, don’t just expect her to come for you. The key from Bette was “She treated me like a queen. It’s been more then a while”. Tina you gotta woo your woman, it won’t be enough to say I love you I want you. You’ll need to show Bette.

    11. I think Tina still need to be sure what she really wants. She can’t just pull Bette back and treat her like sh!t again. She even doesn’t have the answer to whether she really wants Bette back. Then don’t ruin Bette’s happiness. BTW, it’d be a bit weird when you see someone’s in love with someone else and tell her you have feelings for her. I mean, will Rox tell Har her feelings for her?

    13. Great story thus far. I am a big TiBette fan, but I would like to see Bette move on with her life with someone else, Harm would be good for her.

    14. Loving your story Vibes! There is a large part of me that wants Tina to suffer in misery for awhile, and I can’t ignore that!lol Bette needs someone to treat her like a Queen always and forever. I smell some drama!
