Harmony: “Yeah sure.”
Bette opened the salad and began feeding forkfuls to Harmony in between the spoonful of baby food. Bette watched harmony’s mouth intently as it opened. She watched as she chewed and licked her full lips. She was so taken that she never even heard Harmony talking to her.
Harmony: “You listening?”
Bette: “Huh? Oh yeah.”
Harmony: “Where were you just now?”
Bette: “I’m sorry I was looking at your mouth.”
Harmony felt a jolt down her spin.
Harmony: “oh”
She cleared her throat.
Harmony: “Did you see yesterdays paper?”
Bette: “No actually I was too busy.”
Harmony: “Me too. Look in my bag there.”
Bette pulled out the paper and looked at it. There was a picture of she and Harmony at the Brady bash.
Bette: “Oh my gosh”
Harmony: “I know you look stunning.
Pause.
Harmony: “I had no idea I wouldn’t have even noticed. It was on the front page of the arts section. I usually look for my parties in the society section.”
Bette: “I do but I missed this.”
Bette read on.
Bette: “Apparently we’re dating.”
Harmony: “I know I’m sorry about that. These reporters always”
Bette interrupted.
Bette: “No don’t apologize. Its ok.”
Harmony smiled.
Harmony: “It is?”
Bette: “I don’t mind people thinking we’re together. By the looks of it we’d be a high profile couple.”
Harmony laughed then was serious again.
Harmony: “do you think there’s a chance we could one dayactuallybe a couple.”
Bette sat and thought for a second.
Bette: “Yes. There’s a definite possibility.”
Harmony: “Well a chance is good enough for me.”
Belle loved her patience. This situation had potential to be very sticky but Harmony seemed willing to wait for Bette.
Harmony: “So what do you two women have planned for the rest of the day?”
She asked as she bounced Angie on her knee.
Bette: “Hmmm. I dunno. The lil one will probably go down for a nap when we get home. I’ll probably make dinner. Clean. Read.”
Harmony laughed.
Bette: “Hey don’t make fun of my boring life.”
Harmony: “I didn’t say anything. Your lucky to have a little boredom in your life.”
Harmony was serious.
Bette: “yeah I guess I am. I could use a little excitement though.”
Harmony leaned over and kissed Bette lightly on the lips.
Harmony: “that’s where I come in.”
Bette smiled. Harmony played with Angelica and spoke to her in her native language. Angelica ate it up. She got excited as if she knew what she was saying and was speaking back.
Bette: “I’ve never seen her so excited.”
Harmony continued playing and talking with the baby. Her phone rang from her bag.
Bette: “Want me to get t that for you?”
Harmony: “Nah. I’m busy right now. Right Ang? We’re busy talking. Right?”
Bette: “I think she likes you. I think I do too”
Harmony: “Well I’m quite fond of the both of you as well.”
Harmony looked at her watch.
Harmony: “Whoa it’s late! I always lose all track of time when I’m with you.”
Bette: “yeah me too. You better get going.”
Harmony passed Bette the baby.
Harmony: Angie darling, see you soon I hope. We’ll finish our convo.”
She kissed her on the forehead.
Harmony: “Mommy, hope to see you soon as well.”
She kissed Bette on the forehead too.
Bette: “Me too.”
Harmony: “I’ll be in touch.”
She got up and walked tot her car. Bette watched as she drove off.
Bette: “I hope so.”

There is such a natural flow to this story, your dialogue is perfect and the cast is to die for…I liked MK enough, but never truely died for her…now Harmony here, there is just something about their pairing that makes it right…pls more chapters it’s so easy to read and get lost in…thankyou..

I really love the way you capture the feelings between each character including the baby. I also love how you post often. You don’t leave your fans hanging for to long, you don’t leave us hanging at all. Its like reading a book. Maybe you should consider. Hint!!!!!!. No all jokes aside you are an excellant writer.
