Both again just collapsing on the bed…

Bette: How the ***** did you ever think of that

Tina: I was tiredI had to sit …so I jumped up on the washing machine and I was reading…and DAMN the spin cycle almost threw me off…and it just came to me to give it a try…I did good

Bette: Baby you did great… you know laundry will never be the same again…

Tina: I know we will actually look forward to doing it each week

Bette: Maybe even twice a week….

They finished doing laundry and were putting it away… both were very exhausted… so they decided to order a Pizza for dinner…

After dinner…and everything was cleaned and put away… they both just looked at each other and walked into the bedroom…stripped and crawled into bed… meeting in the middle …arms and legs entwined …kissing each other…they were soon fast asleep…a much needed sleep…

Monday Morning…6:00am

Bette starts to stir… thinking to herself…no work for me today…and the next 2 weeks… life is good…watching Tina sleep… and today baby your ring should be ready… so I think this Friday or Saturday night I will ask you to be my wife… God I love this woman… closing her eyes…

Tina starts to wake up…looking over at Bette… wish I didn’t have to work today… I would love to be at the CAC with Bette today when she hears the news if she got the director’s Job… God I hope she got that job… but I think before I go to work Im stopping at the jewelry store… and buying her an engagement ring… I hope she likes the Marques stone…I just love that one… its going to look so great on those long slender … oh yeah very talented fingers… and then for the ceremony we’ll have matching diamond wedding bands… look at her she is sleeping so peaceful…God I love this woman…

Bette opens her eyes… just starring…

Tina: leans in and gives her a kiss… morning babe…

Bette: Oh youre up…

Tina: Yeah and before you

Bette: no I was up earlier…you were snoring away

Tina: WHAT…I DON’T SNORE

Bette: Then somebody else is sleeping with us

Tina: Jumping on top of Bette…if anything MS. Porter…you snore

Bette: Rolling her over… Oh Yeah… well I know for a fact that I don’t… and baby you can snore… sing… whistle… whatever… I still love You

Tina: Do I really snore… dam thats embarrassing

Bette: What…Why do you say that

Tina: I don’t know…Eric used to snore…and keep me awake… he had other habits too…

Now both were just laughing hysterically…

Bette: You are so bad Ms. Kennard

Tina: So babe…you have your acceptance speech all ready

Bette: No …its not like that… at least I hope not… Ill just wing it

Tina: I have a good feeling about this job for you

Bette: You do…why

Tina: Because it’s in your blood… you live for the Arts… I’ve seen the way you just look at Paintings and can actually feel what the artist is saying… they would be crazy not to hire you

Bette: Thanks baby… well how about a shower… and breakfast… it’s nice and early so we don’t have to rush and eat and run…

Tina: So do I have my way with you in the shower

Bette: Not if I get you first

As they both take off for the bathroom… both yelling they had to pee… Tina sat first…and Bette straddled her lap…

Tina: You know we are getting to be pros at this… as they kissed one another… tongues exploring the inside of the other’s mouth…

Bette reaches in the shower…turns it on… as they were still attached together… standing… hugging… arms holding on for life… still joined in a lip-lock Bette walks Tina into the shower…

Even though Tina wanted to have Bette in the shower…Bette won…she had Tina up against the wall …her arms were raised above her head…as Bette was kissing…sucking… licking her lips and over to that sweet spot on her neck…

Bette: Tee lets just finish showering… other wise we will be rushing around

Bette: Yeah and I have a big day today… so I want us to have a nice breakfast together…not choking it down in the car…

Both get up… wash… dry them selves off… and were getting dressed…

Tina was dressed to the hilt…while Bette was more relaxed…

Tina: What no power suit today

Bette: No don’t feel like it today… just casual…

Soon they were out the door and at the Planet…

Tina: WOW no one is here…

Bette: Good… we can eat in peace

Bette: I know but you know what I mean…sometimes Alice can be a pain in the *****

Tina: But we wouldn’t want her any other way

Bette: yeah youre right… I have a feeling she will be here any second anyway

Tina: Speak of the devils…

Alice: you two are early…

Dana: Alice…come on lets get breakfast…Shane is already there

All sitting around the table…eating… now every one was very quiet…

Shane: Bette…. today is the big day…right

Bette: yes it is

Alice: So drinks will be on you guys again this Friday night

Tina: Of course…I know she is going to get that job…leaning in to her and kissing her on the cheek…

Bette: well I should know by lunch time

Shane: I’m with Tina…its in the bag…you got it

Dana: Bette your the best one for this job… I also think you got it…

Alice: So will you call us…how will we know…

Bette: Well I would like to tell Tina first…so after I find out…how about I tex message you all…

Tina: Yeah a code… like lucky numbers…777…you got the job

Alice: yeah and 000 if you didn’t

Bette: I could do that…ok ladies…Im off

Bette and Tina both get up and walk outside to their cars…hug and kiss each other…

They leave and Tina makes a little detour to the Jewelry store…

Woman … Good morning… may I help you

Tina: Yes I need to see engagements rings…I want to see marquees…at least 2 carrots

Woman: I know exactly what you want… I have this ring that was ordered the other day… and if you like it we could do the same for you… showing Tina the ring…

Tina: WOW…that is beautiful…that is exactly what I want… you couldn’t sell me that ring and let the other customer wait for another one

Woman: No Im sorry… that customer will be here this afternoon to pick this up but we can have yours ready by Wednesday…

Tina: Ok thats fine… giving her the ring size…not taking her eyes off the other ring…wow its beautiful… and credit card information… she was all set… and out the door on her way to work

30 minutes later Bette walked in to the jewelry store

Woman: Well good morning Ms. Porter wait till you see your ring… showing Bette the ring… Wow Tina is going to love this ring… you did a wonderful job…

Woman: you know I had another customer here not 30 minutes ago… also falling in love with this ring…wanted me to sell it right now and let you wait…

Bette: No this is going to look beautiful on Tina’s hand…

As Bette leaves…the woman is thinking to her self… I wonder…as she looks at the 2 receipts… is it just a coincidence that the other woman name was Tina also…looking at the 2 receipts …she smiles…well Ill be…I showed Tina her own ring…they have the same address… thank god they didn’t come in together… this is so romantic… going into the back room… and putting all other orders to the side…work on this first… and make it an exact duplicate of the one you just finished…

As she walks back into the front of the store… I wish I could be a fly on the wall when they ask each other to marry them… I wonder who will ask first… LOVE… I love it…

Bette gets back into her car…ok Porter now what… it’s only 10:00am on the first day of a 2 week vacation and already your bored

Meanwhile at the MGM Studios

Jill: we have a 11:00 meeting

Tina: ok any idea what going on

Jill: Not a clue. Actually I was hoping you might know

Tina: Oh well I guess we will just have to wait. Come on lets get some coffee and I think I saw donuts in the break room

11:00am and by 11:30 the meeting was over…

Tina: Jill this is great…2 weeks off…

Jill: Well good for us and the pits for the crew…

Tina: Well Im going to surprise Bette with a home cooked meal and a lot of loving tonight

Jill: hmmmm sounds like a plan… ok we’re out of here for 2 weeks…

Tina pulls out her cell…dialing Bette

Bette: looking at the caller id… well hello *****

Tina: mmmmmmm hello to you… Well babe any news yet

Bette: Tee not yet…the meeting is in 10 minutes… Tee you sound like your in the car

Tina: I am… we have 2 weeks off…the production that was supposed to be finished today ran into a lot of problems so they need 2 more weeks. And they don’t want to start another project until this one is complete, so they gave us a vacation

Bette: Now that is wonderful news baby. So are you on your way home

Tina: Yes I am and I think Im going to put that little Hot Pink bikini on and get some sun before you get home

Bette: Now that sounds like a plan… I may even have some time to ***** home for lunch

Tina: hmmmm yeah well Ill be sure to have all of your favorites ready for you

Bette: Ok baby I have to go…

Tina: Good luck babe

As Bette continues to drive around… hmmm Ill give her a head start and then walk in for lunch.

Tina arrives home… and quickly changes into the bikini… makes a pitcher of Ice Tea and brings it on the deck… ok Bette Im ready…willing and oh yeah ***** able… as she just lies back in a lawn chair waiting for Bette.

as quietly as she can Bette walks into the apartment and sees Tina on the deck…in all of her glory with just the little Hot Pink Bikini on… Bette heart skips a beat… very quietly she goes out on the deck and just kisses her sleeping beauty… Tina deepens the kiss as their tongues explore each other…

Tina: Babe did you get the job

Bette: Yes…just keep kissing me

Tina: she screams …you did …I told you you were going to get it…now hugging and kissing each other

Bette: So you sound excited

Bette: You haven’t even heard the best part

Bette: I also have the next 2 weeks off… before I start the Spring Show

Tina: OMG this is so good… we should plan to go away for a few days anyway

Bette: Yes we should… but we did promise the girls that we were buying again this weekend

Tina: Thats ok we could leave on Sunday

Both thinking to them selves…this way I have Friday or Saturday night to pop the question…

Bette: You know baby you look awfully HOT in that suit and I think I should take you out of it and have my way with this ***** …kiss…body

Tina: You know Babe…when your right your right… I think you need to take this suit off of me…because I am starting to over heat

Taking her hand and leading her into the bedroom… Bette does just that… unhooking the bra top and flinging it up into the air and then sliding the bottom off and doing the same… Tina stood there for Bette’s eyes only to ever see… to only touch… to only taste…

Bette lays her down on the bed…removing her own shirt and bra with one move and her pants followed… they lay together as one…
