    Tina:  so Alice… where is everyone…

    Alice:  I don’t know … guess it was a late night… you ladies going out tonight

    Tina:  I don’t think so Alice… we have last minute things to do…

    Bette:  yeah its getting real close…

    Alice:  don’t tell me your nervous Porter…

    Bette:  No I’m not nervous… terrified… maybe

    Tina: WHAT…

    Bette:  only kidding baby… I can’t wait till you’re my wife…

    Tina:  that’s better… well I’m going to take off…

    Bette:  me too… have a good day Alice…

    The morning was going by very slowly… Bette was counting down the hours to when she would be able to go home… (Her phone rings)

     

    Bette:  Bette Porter… how may I help you…

     

    Tina:  How formal…

     

    Bette:  hey baby… what’s up…

     

    Tina:  I am going home early… I don’t feel well… my stomach is killing me…

     

    Bette:  that’s right you didn’t get your period yet… shit that means mine is due any day also… so do you need me to come and get you to take you home… I know just how to cure all of your aches and pains…

     

    Tina:  I know you do… but I guess I will have to wait till your meeting is over to feel better… besides I think I’ll just stop and do some shopping so we don’t have to leave the house later…

     

    Bette:  ok… but leave your phone on and call me when you get to the grocery store… this way I’ll shop with you…

     

    Tina:  so you’re not busy this morning…

     

    Bette:  no… but we have that meeting at 3:00… or else I would be home early…

     

    Tina:  ok I’ll call you in about 30 minutes… bye babe…

     

    Jill:  so I bet she wanted to come and pick you up…

     

    Tina:  Smiling… you know her almost as well as I do…

     

    Jill: well I remember the last time you went home sick…

     

    Tina:  I know… I remember too… but this is different… I don’t have a headache…

     

    Tina and Jill both leave…
