(Laughing)… I guess I should be grateful for this room… it has let me keep my sanity…
And tomorrow is another day… since I have plenty of time I just may go Alice hunting…

Bette woke up early… looking out the window, it was the beginning of a beautiful day… so she put on her sweats and a shirt and went for a run…
30 minutes later… Bette was bent over… trying to catch her breath… I guess it’s been a little longer that I remember… just then a woman stopped and asked if she was all right… I told her I was used to running on a thread mill… she saw I was fine and she continued on her run…
Walking back to my room and showering… it was now time for breakfast…
45 minutes later… caring a cup of coffee and looking for a place to sit…the place was packed… women as far as the eye could see… she was being checked out from every angle… she then hears someone calling her…
MG: Hi… I have an extra seat if you’re interested…
Bette looked and she looked harmless… in fact she looked a little like Amanda… even had a cane…
Bette: Don’t mind if I do… it’s been a long morning… My name is Bette…
MG: Everyone calls me MG… please… so from your accent… you’re also from the States…
Bette: Yes LA… and let me guess New York…
MG: Either you’re good or my Brooklyn accent is showing…
Bette: I would say your Brooklyn is showing… so tell me… are you a part of this…
MG: (Smiling)… yes I am… I’m here with a good friend… we met on line of all places… she is from Canada…
Bette: What is this exactly… if you don’t mind me asking…
MG: Well we are all fans of a TV show… The name is "Earthlings"… I guess you could say I’m a Treckie fan from way back… and this is a 21st Century SI-FI show…
Bette: Seriously…
MG: A lesbian Si-Fi… it’s the shows first year… and a few rookie actors… but it has some potential… I like two of the main characters… “Liz and Chris”… they are a couple… (Laughing)
Bette: Ok now what’s so funny… a lesbian couple… its not really that uncommon…
MG: That’s not what I’m laughing about… the whole planet is women… No Men… so to have everyone look up to one couple… you would think they would have a few… anyway… they have their share of "Players"…
Bette: My kind of Planet… tell me more…
MG: This show reminds me of a book I read many years ago… "Yargo" by Jacqueline Susann…

So vert happy to see your poat,Missed it so much. If your pain is your back or knee that to will past. I got really sick in Oct and finally the Doctors found the trouble. Thanks goodness had surgery the 15of May and I feel like a new person. Not new I’m still 76 I love how Bette sneaked in on Tina. It was funny and sad that she had to be away from the baby.they do gtow so fast. Get to feeling better and write more. thanks bvh

Upon reading this chapter and the previous one, I thought Helena set her up, and it seem that I miss the transition from her talking to MG and Janice and how she was back home at the front door. PS. It was a joy to see Tibette at the Convention, but I fell in love with Rachel Shelley at that convention, and I think I actually rememebr you and your shirt.
