They make their way into the living room… Lisa sits on the couch with Bette and Tina on both sides… and they wait for her to start talking… Tina has her arm around her and Bette is holding her hand… Lisa is looking down… tears are again falling… as she turns her face into Tina’s shoulder…
Tina: Its ok babe… just talk to us… so we can help you… (Tina looks at Bette)…
Bette: Lisa … did something happen between you and James
Lisa: (Shakes her head yes)… but not what your thinking… we didn’t have a fight or any thing… and we didn’t break up…
Tina: Ok that’s a good thing… so tell us what is bothering you…
Lisa: I think I’m Pregnant

Bette and Tina just look at each other and at first say nothing…
Lisa: well say something…
Bette: Lisa, how late are you
Lisa: actually I’m not… I’m due this Sunday
Tina: what makes you think your pregnant if your not late…
Bette: (looks at Tina and shakes her head)… Did you have unprotected sex…
Lisa: (In between sobs)… No… Well technically… No… but the condom broke, and when I realized it… well it was too late… and he didn’t know… until I told him… and he pulled out..
Bette: Ok when was this… the date…
Lisa: The night of your wedding… we were also celebrating with you…
Tina: so late Saturday night… the 24th… well Sunday the 25th…
As Bette gets up and gets a calendar… counting…
Bette: and your due this Sunday… the 16th… so June 19th was day 1… and July 16th is day 28… so July 2nd would be 14 days… go back 3 days to June 30th and ahead 3 days to July 5th…
Tina: So unless he’s Superman… Lisa… you are not pregnant…
Bette: If the time was between June 30th and July 5th… well maybe… but a week before… the chance you are… well slim to none…
Lisa: why is it that when I tried to add it up… all I saw was I was pregnant…
Tina: maybe deep down you really want to be…
Lisa: I even had James convinced he was going to be a daddy… he asked me to marry him…

Using a calendar to figure out if your pregnant is mind boggling to say the least. How about a pregnancy test? I guess that would have been to simple for Lisa. She does much better with a calendar and counting. NOT! LOL! I was sorry to read that Tina’s sister is mildly retarded. Next time they go away they should A. get her a calender. B. get her a calculator. C. leave her with Mom. D. buy her a chastity belt-she clearly isn’t competent. Maybe James can help her with the math in future. Uh, Bette did take off Mr. Universe before she left the bedroom, didn’t she? Given Lisa’s limited mental capacities, I wouldn’t want her to be frightened or confused by such a sight. And I’m glad Bette and Tina finished the night with water, driving could have been tricky otherwise. I suppose in both cases all’s well that ends well. And judging from the spanking, I think its safe to assume that Tina thinks Bette ends well.
