Tears start to fall from Tina’s eyes…
Bette: But baby if you don’t want me… well I can’t force you… and I Bette Porter never would force anyone…
Bette turns to walk away… she hears … babe… and she smiles… she knows her trump card worked… she stops…
Tina: Babe… I meant every word I said to you less then 3 weeks ago…I don’t know what to say… I have been the biggest fool… feeling sorry for myself… Being so pissed off… I lashed out to the person I love more then life itself… and why… I don’t know why…
Bette turns around and faces her…
Tina: Babe… I… can you forgive me… I don’t really remember any thing that Dr. Wilson said to me after she said she felt something… I’m sorry… will you forgive me…
Bette: (Looking at Linda)… what do you think Mom… should I…
Linda: as long as she promises never to fly off the handle again…
Tina: Gee MOM… who’s side are you on… I am far from perfect…
Linda: Oh I wouldn’t say that… today you were a PERFECT JACKASS…
Bette: But baby you’re my Perfect Jackass… now get up and hug me… I am having withdrawals from not having my daily dose of my “PRIME TINA”…
Linda: Do I want to know what that means…
Tina: (Getting up and meeting Bette) No Mom you don’t…
Just then Tina’s cell phone rings… looking at the caller ID… its Dr. Wilson… Tina answers… thank you… I’ll be there
Tina: That was Dr. Wilson… she has an opening tomorrow… at 3:00… she
wants me in then…
Bette: that’s good baby… get this over with…
Tina: babe what if they found something else… holding on tighter to Bette…
Bette: listen to me… I called Dr Wilson before… asking her if she could do this tomorrow… baby… I think by Monday you will be a total wreck…
Linda: That’s good thing Tina… Bette is right… lets get this over with… then we have to talk about my Grandchildren… (Smiling)
Tina: I guess I haven’t been a nice person
Bette: that’s saying it kindly… don’t worry… after all of this is said and done… and you’re fine… and we can go on with our life… you will pay for these last 24 hours of hell that you put me through…

Thank Goodness Tina finally came around. Thanks for this touch of drama. I was just thinking about emailing to ask for some drama because I always wonder how they would they react if anything would happen to the other. But in mind it was always Bette that was the one that something happened to. Please let Tina be okay. Any hope for a posting on your other fic????
Dammit MOM now I want wonton soup and it’s hard to find good soup around here. =( Yes Tina was a perfect jackass but we all have our moments. That’s good that Tina’s appointment was moved up because waiting sucks.
It would appear it takes a village and the entire extended family (Second Cousin Edith, can you come over?) to knock some sense into Tina’s extra thick skull. I wasn’t aware that fear quickly lays down new layers of calcium to the cranium. I’m glad they finally succeeded. Smart move on Bette’s part to get Dr. Wilson to speed up the schedule. I betcha that everything will turn out fine and they’ll be scheduling an insemination session as they leave this appointment.
Man…thank you for reeling Tina in…she was wayyy out there. I am glad they are all with her. I am sure everything will be fine. I am currently reading a story where Tina had cancer and DIED (cassandra_b)…that story is emotionally draining but the writing is soooo good I can’t not read it…I just have to read a little and walk away…then read some more. I hope this story stays with them happy and healthy and in love. Thanks for posting Amanda.

This is hard on any family but for a woman it seems to be the hardest. Especially if the take the entire breast. I am glad that mom, Lisa and Bette could talk to Tina and get her to feel better about herself.
Tina got her senses back! what a wonderful thing! the doctor said that the 99.99% are a benign then it will be and if not she needs to keep around the person that she loves and love her. Great post Amanda! take care

Amanda, That was so tormented and then touching as Tina started to see the support and love around her instead of focussing on the darkest of potentail outcomes. Loved it as it demonstrate the ability of love to conquer all demons; even the ones you create yourself. Can’t wait to see where this leads. More please and soon, Your Loyal Fan.
