Jill comes back with the drinks and a couple of morning treats…
Jill: I thought you might want something…
Tina: they do look good… real good….
Jill: so Tina… anything you want to say… or share…
Tina: smiling… you always can read me…
Jill: Like a book… what’s going on… I can guess… but I’ll let you tell me…
Tina: so you think you know…
Jill: yes I do… I remember… it wasn’t that long ago….
Tina gets up and makes sure the door is locked…
Jill: already did that… so spill it…
Tina: ok … and you have to promise, no one else hears about this…
Jill: well not yet any way…
Tina: you do know…
Jill: just say it… I would hate to make a fool of myself if I’m wrong… which by the way I know I’m not…
Tina: (Taking a deep breath)… We are trying to have a baby…
Jill: I knew it…
Tina: Ok how did you guess…
Jill: Tee I have seen you get your period before… and it never affected you like this before… but don’t worry I’m sure it will happen soon…
Tina: wait it gets better…
Tina takes her seat again… smiles…
Tina: I’m glad you’re sitting down… because I still am in shock… yesterday when I saw RED… it felt like my heart was ripped out… I never looked again… all night… I closed my eyes every time… and poor Bette…
Jill: wait… your losing me here… what are you talking about…
Tina: well it seems I didn’t get my period yesterday…
Jill: but you said you saw Red…
Tina: Well I have my wife to thank for this… according to Bette… and it does make sense… remember the other night we went out to dinner and I pigged out on the salad bar…
Jill: yeah I never seen anyone eat so many pickled beets before… Wait… OMG… I guess it could happen… it dyed your system…
Tina: well it must of… because no RED after that…
Jill: so… that’s means OMG… Your PREGNANT…
Tina: well I guess I am… 3 days late… and I am never late…
Tina then proceeded to tell Jill the whole story…
Tina: And that’s it… I am still in shock…
Jill: we have to go and get you one of those home pregnancy tests…
Tina: I guess I should…
Jill: but wait till at least Saturday or Sunday…
Tina: yeah… Bette is convinced… she said it that night… that she had a good feeling…
Jill: yeah but was she talking about you getting pregnant or "She had a good feeling"
Tina: good question… and I think I will leave it at that…
Jill: can I ask you about the donor…
Tina: well that’s just between Bette and me… no one will know who he is… and he will have no say at all in raising the kids… that was made clear before any papers were signed…
Jill: good that’s all I really wanted to know… I wouldn’t want anyone standing in Bette’s way of adopting the baby…
Tina: me either…
Jill: so any preferences… boy or girl…
Tina: it doesn’t matter to me but Bette has her heart set on a little blond haired girl…
Jill: just like her mommy…

Yeah, well, if they’re not together, it might be some other batteries Tina will be needing. Sounds like Bette better stay close for, oh, so many reasons. To think that pickled beets caused such a pickle.

Hope Bette can hold out for 9 mos. Not only horny but bitchie. and terrible mood swings. Sad, happy crying or laughing. Tina being Tina she will just be tired and Happy. It sounds like Bette is going to need a heavy duty battery or even a heavy duty generator to run her engines non-stop. Not sure who will be the most tired of the two.
