I’m going to see Joyce Wishnia tomorrow.  I need to make out my will.  I want to make sure Angie is taken care of.

AFTERNOON

“Mommy, Mommy I’m home!  Momma B picked me up from school, and we went to the store, and we got surprises, and Happy Birthday Mommy, do I get a present too?” Said Angie excitedly.  Tina picked her up and swung her in a circle while giving her kisses.

Bette walked in with groceries and packages and headed to the kitchen.  After she set down the packages, Bette came over to Tina and Angie and gave them a hug, and then she kissed Tina on the lips.  Tina blushed of course.  Bette loves to make Tina blush.

“Well Ms. Tina Kennard, tomorrow is your birthday and Angie and I won’t be here.  So we decided to have a surprise birthday party for you today.  Now you have to get out of the house for a while so Angie and I can put the party together.”  Bette said, as she winked at Angie.  Bette had called earlier and pre-arranged everything with Tina, so she was dressed and ready to leave.

“Okay ladies I’m leaving.” Said Tina, “I’m going to the Planet and have a mocha latte and read a book.  I haven’t done this in ages.  What a nice birthday present.”

Angie jumped in Bette’s arms and they went to give Tina a big birthday hug and goodbye kiss.  “Bye Mommy, have fun Mommy.”  Bette and Angie said, as they waved.

When Tina got in the car she started to cry…

THE PLANET

Tina was enjoying her latte when she saw Kit arrive.  Waving hello, Kit nodded toward her office.  Tina picked up her latte and book and followed Kit.

Putting down her attaché case and sweater on a chair, Kit pointed to the sofa and sat down with Tina. “ Baby girl give me a hug.  I haven’t seen you in ages.”  Kit said lovingly.  “How did you manage to get out of the house by yourself?” Kit continued.  Tina loved when Kit called her Baby Girl. “ Well Bette and Angie are giving me a “surprise” birthday party later on.  So I had to leave the house.  Kit you should have seen Angie.  She was so excited!  She asked if she gets a present too.  I’m going to buy her something.  I could just eat her with a spoon!” Tina said laughingly.
