I woke up to a pounding in my head not knowing where I am. Opening my eyes I find that’s no help because something is covering them. Whatever is covering my eyes is really very tight. I would remove it but I’ve found I have my hands shackled above my head for which they’ve already fallen asleep and are dead weights.
My feet are tied together underneath my body and I can already feel them falling asleep. Where the ***** am I? I wish I could plug my nose, but again I can’t move my hands. The place I am held prisoner stinks to high heaven. I can’t really place my finger on what the smell is but it’s almost overpowering.
As I’m starting to panic just a little bit I hear a voice through my drug-fogged brain.
“You are awake finally I see,” a Voice speak from above me
I can’t tell whether the person that is speaking is male or female in my drug induced state. My head lulls forward a moment as a wave of dizziness overtakes me.
“Yeah I think I might have given you a little too much.”
When my head clears I raise my head once again, slowly, as to not cause more dizziness.
“Who are you,” I ask after clearing my throat, which felt like sandpaper
“The drugs tend to dry out one’s mouth,” the Voice speaks in a cheerful, sounds cheerful to me, voice
I am startled when I feel something touch my lips.
“Drink.”
I keep my mouth closed and the Voice laughs.
“It’s just water.”
Deciding that my thirst outweighs my distrust of this person I open my mouth and the sweet coldness of water goes down my throat. This person lets me drink for a few moments and then the water is pulled away.
I clear my throat again, “Who are you?”
“Who I am doesn’t matter right now.”
That’s not helpful.
“Where am I?”
“Still asking the wrong questions.”
What could possibly be the right question right now?
“The right question is what do I want with you.”
That is a good question.

The first thought that popped in my head while reading this chapter was “where’s Detective Porter from ‘Breathe’ when you need her?! Oh yeah, protecting the OTHER Tina!!!”. Apparently there’s a lot of that going on, huh? =P
I really liked this chapter! I immediately jumped into the guessing wagon =D
At first I thought Shane, you know, because of the voice… – totally off topic, but I love her voice! – however I think Shane would have a thing for Tina, not Bette.
Then I thought, no way this could be one of the girls. So… Tina’s mother? By the way, that is another thing that seems to be happening a lot lately, I mean, Tina’s family showing up.
Anyway, as I said, I really like this chapter, very intriguing!

Since you have a thing for Shane and Bette together I’m leaning toward her.
In this chapter at first I thought it was Bette’s mom (that would be way twisted) but she wasn’t around to know all the crap that went down with B & T. Then I thought my previous guess of Bette but it can’t since Tina says ‘the person that Bette and I both trust’. I think it’s either Shane or Alice.

Yes I trust you, I’m sure we all do, but you are driving us crazy here!!! I could swear that this would have been the chapter that we find out who the stalker is. Now Tina knows, but we still don’t. How much longer will you keep us in suspense? Pleeeeaaaaassse let it be next, I am dying here!!! Really great chapter though.

I CLICKED ON THIS STORY BY MISTAKE. NOW I HAVE TO BACKTRACK AND READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY. I AM INTRIGUED. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE IDEA OF BETTE AND TINA FOREVER, IN LOVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. ONE AUTHOR KILLED TINA, ANOTHER GAVE BETTE A HEART ATTACK, ONE MADE BETTE AN ALCOHOLIC, ONE HAD HER ALMOST DIE IN AN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT. CURSE ALL OF YOU! AND CURSE MY ADDICTION TO FANFIC.
