Bette Porter… I Was Too Blind To See… When You Belonged To Me… You Were My Everything!

    Tuesday 18 November.

7.00 a.m. Am never going to touch another drop of alcohol again as long as I live.

7.25 a.m. Decided today was a good day to face my demons. Am going to the Planet to have breakfast. Think positive Bette. If Tina’s there it can only be a good thing.

7.26 a.m. Oh ***** am feeling really nervous at the prospect of seeing her now have made conscious decision to do so. Think I’m going to throw up!

7.48 a.m. Just great have bigger audience than bargained for. This was a bad idea. Should have took, notice when my stomach decided to erupt with last nights dinner, must have been an omen.

7.49 a.m. Lord have mercy on me.

” Don’t worry I’m not going to ask to join you, I know you all think I’m a monster and you probably all hate me, but there’s something I have to say to Tina.”

Shane tried to spare my embarrassment.

“Would you like us to leave?”

” No. You can say what you want to say in front of them.”

    Her voice was so cold.

She, hates me, she actually ***** hates me.

“T Tina I know it’s taken me so long to talk to you, but I wanted to make sure I could do what you asked of me I promise It’s over it’s totally over. I am never going to see her again I am never going to speak to her again.  I am never going to think of her again. I told her that you were the love of my life and I didn’t know what I was doing and that I must have gone temporarily insaneI love you I miss youmost of all I need you I don’t think I don’t think I can live without you.” The look on her face told me she wasn’t in the least bit convinced. “It is completely and totally over.” I pleaded.

“When did you tell her it was over?”

    “This morning”

Jesus Tina, will you let me finish before interrupting me?

“In person or over the phone?”
