“Do you accept your mission”
Alice: “Mission accepted”
Shane: “You have 15 minutes to complete your mission. Goodluck”
Alice stands and salutes both girls and makes her way over to the girl.
Tina: “So what do you reckon”
Shane: “She’s definitely gonna crash and burn” both girls laugh.
Alice: “Hey hows it going”
Brooke: (looks at Alice) “I’m sorry do I know you”
Alice: “Umm Ok. (extends her hand) I’m Alice”
Brooke: looks at Alice than her hand ” Brooke”
Alice: “Brooke I like that name” she looks over at Shane and Tina. Tina holds up her arm and points to her watch then they both burst out laughing. Alice gives them the finger.
Alice: “So do you come here often” The girl looks at Alice with a frown
Alice: “Wow that wasI ummthat wasn’t a pick up line. I mean its my first time here, how about you, first time or have you been here before.
Brooke: “No I’ve been here before”
Alice: “Not one for conversation”
Shane comes walking over she smiles at both the girls than stands at the bar.
Brook: (turns to Shane) “Hi, can I buy you a drink”. Shane turns round to face both girls and smiles. Alice’s eyes widen and her mouth drops open.
Shane: “Sure, ahh Vodka Red Bull” Brook turns round to order. Alice is still standing there with her mouth wide open. Shane shrugs her shoulders a huge grin forming on her face.
Brooke hands Shane her drink. “I’m Brooke”
Shane: “Shane”
Alice makes her way back over to Tina who is beside herself in fits of laughter. Alice sits down.
Alice: “Can you believe that *****”. Tina was trying to catch her breath while wiping away the tears streaming down her face. “She didn’t even have to say anything, she just walked up and stood there and that ***** practically threw herself at Shane”. Tina was now slapping her knee with laughter.
Alice: “You know your support would be appreciated right about now”
Tina: (puts her arm around Alice) “Ahhh I will always love you Al”.
Shane comes back over with another round of shots for them. Alice throws hers straight down.
Alice: (looking at Shane) “I so wish I was you right now”
Tina: “What about me”
Alice: “No, see your all confused about the whole Miss Hottie situation, but I will be more than happy to be you when you sort it all out and you and Miss Hottie are getting it on”. Shane laughs
Tina: “I’m gonna go get us some more shots. She walks off to the bar.
Shane: “So what do you think of this place, it’s pretty cool hey” Alice was looking over at the door.
Alice: “Yep, and it looks like this night is going to get a ***** of a lot more interesting” a smile forming on Alice’s face.
Shane turns towards the door. “You can say that again”

I just discovered it and had such a wonderful time reading all the former chapters one after the other.
College stories are a big weakness of mine and, god, who could ask anything more exciting than this original Bette & Tina beginning, as teacher and student ?? Awww… simply a delight – especially because you marvelously master all the nuances, balancing between pure fun and pretty unbearable tension ! I always deeply appreciate authors who know so well to gently tease their readers, postponing their wishes, playing with their increasing impatience… and that’s pretty feverish now !!
