    A nightmare and a good talk.

    After another evening of making love, the girls tangled into each other and cuddled up and went to sleep for the night. During the very early hours of the morning, Tina awoke to Bette mumbling something. She wasn’t quite sure what she was saying and thought she might have been being kept awake from pain. As she moved from a sleepful state to a more wakeful state and her eyes focused in on the room, she heard Bette saying “No, no..”

     

    Tina carefully touched Bette’s shoulder and then gently rubbed it while saying “Bette? Sweetie? Are you sleeping? Are you awake?”

     

    Bette jerked out of sleep and sat up briskly in bed. Tina roused quickly to move up beside her and put her hand on Bette’s back. Bette immediately swatted it away and yelled out “I said no!”.

     

    Tina moved back in the bed startled and quietly said “Bette? Bette it is me Tina…”

     

    She paused and was so upset she was nearly crying.

     

    Bette whipped her head around and then seemed to zip back into reality. She moved sideways to face to Tina and put her hand on Tina’s thigh.

    Bette said “T, I am so sorry. I think I was dreaming or something. Everything seemed so surreal. I am sorry.”

     

    Bette looked into Tina’s hazel eyes and could she was nearly in tears. Bette felt terrible that she had lashed out and obviously Tina was shaken.

     

    Bette said “Baby, come here. I am so sorry”.

     

    Bette gathered Tina up in her arms and Tina exhaled and started crying. Tina melted into Bette and let go. She was crying for what just happened and then suddenly she was crying to everything that she had not cried for in the past week. All the frustrations seemed to burst to the surface. She was particularly frustrated that parts of her life were back and parts of dreams were fulfilled and yet, there was so much more to conquer.

     

    Bette said “T, honey, don’t cry. It breaks my heart when you cry. It was just a bad dream. I am sorry I lashed out. I was still sleeping and I didn’t really know what was going on”.

    3. I am so glad you are continuing this story. This was indeed a beautiful update. I love to see the caring and love they have for one another. When is Angie coming for a visit? I think her moms need some special Angie hugs!

    5. Sweet update. I understand Bette doesn’t want the police involved, but she didn’t say anything about Tina taking certain actions with regard to Jodie!

    6. I know Tina may not want to defy Bette and report the incident anyway, but Jodi can’t just get away with what she did and Bette sweep it under the rug. It’s going to cause a rift between her and Bette! PPS

    7. Great chappie, this is a wonderful story. I think Bette’s way of handlingthis situation is not going to have a good outcome. I think she just doesn’t want to really deal with it yet.

    9. I can understand Tina wanting Bette to take jodi to the authorities and I can understand Bette’s need to put it all behind her. I hope that they can work out this issue.
