“Do you like it?” Shane asked Alice.

“Yeah… I love it… it’s very mystifying… I don’t know how to describe it…” Alice said still her eyes on the photograph. Shane looked at the image and really couldn’t make out what to think of it, she doesn’t have that arty side to her.

“… do you like it?” Alice looked at Shane.

“Uhm… uhh… yeah… it’s very… black…” Shane looked at Alice, hoping that she got the right word for it.

“Huh… that’s a good word for it… I would get it if it doesn’t cost me two months of my rent…” Alice said.

Shane looked at the information card next to it, who the photographer was and so on and saw the $4500 price tag on it.

“Hey do you want to check this place out?” Shane asked feeling a bit playful.

“Uhh… Okay…” Alice said. Shane took Alice’s hand and started walking out of the hall of the party; the two of them walked to the end of the left wing of the mansion and went up the big twirling staircase.

Soon they got up the stairs; the two of them was faced with a long hallway with more doors leading them to unknown rooms in the huge manor.

“Uhm… there’s like hundreds of doors here Shane… I kind of feel like we’re in The Matrix…” Alice said looking at all the big antique doors surrounding them.

Shane led Alice along the hallways and stop nearly midway when they saw a different type of door and decided to go into that one.

“Hey… this one looks interesting…” Shane said, she pushed the heavy door making a old squeaky noise.

The both entered the room; the wall of the big room is covered with book cases and filled with old books. There was an old wooden ladder that was attached the tall bookcase, the two of them looked around the space and amazed of how it looked like something in the movies.

“So I guess this would be the library… she’s got a library… who would’ve thought…” Alice said sarcastically.

Alice turned to Shane who is untying her bowtie leaving it around her neck; she unbuttoned the top button off her shirt. Shane didn’t notice the sultry eyes that Alice been giving Shane.
