“You know guys I think we are done here. Your upsetting my guests in there time of grief of Shane’s friend. I think you should leave unless you have any pertinent questions to finding Havoc.”

    Way to go Mills.

“Papa Mills always defending his little girl all the way to retirement. How them links Papa? I hear Orlando has premium courses?” Scott said.

“Funny. Now that Carmen and I are no longer around maybe you can catch up to us in arrests. It will only take you 50 years. Have fun.” Mills said.

    God I hated those guys.

They left some rookies in a sedan a block away to keep an eye on us. Until then Mills thought it was a good idea to hang around his place for a couple of days. He laid down the law with Miriam; she wanted us to have the same room he didn’t. He told her that she didn’t know what it was like we Shane and I got together. Shane just blushed like a horny teenager.

So the days went on, Shane doing evrything in her power not to touch me, me doing everything in power to touch her. it was killing me but we where all getting along well.

Shane and Mills got along really well. They did the guys things. They fixed up his garage. So Miriam and I did the girl things. We looked at stuff for the baby. I didn’t know shit about being pregnant other than the nausea that Miriam insisted would pass. She told me that I would have to visit a doctor and get all kinds of tests, and blood work to see if the baby was coming along, prenatal vitamins, yoga for pregnant women, weird cravings, and a whole list of things I didn’t want to mention. And she said that I would be really amorous more than maybe Shane could deal with. I laughed at loud at that one finding it hard to believe.

Shane came over to get some lemonade for herself and Mills. She had on this sleeveless white t-shirt , all greasy from the work they where doing on Mills’s old 69’ Charger. I really wanted to sneak off with her while Mills cooled down…but Shane was so into working with Mills that she didn’t notice my eyes trying to send her the message. Miriam just laughed.

    1. Holy shit, it was about time ‘Papa’ John left . . . but I, too, have a feelin’ that this is only the calm before the storm. It makes you wonder even more, “Where the hell is Havoc?!!!” Anyways, like always from me, LYLAS ;-p
