Boundary of Fear and Love – Part 2
Boundary of Fear and Love – Part 2
Wow, what a week. I never would have guessed it. If someone told me that I would have the chance to be with both Lara and Alice in the same week, that they both would want me, I never would have believed it. Lara came back, out of no where. Damn, when did my life get complicated? I almost long for the times when my issues came from not having anyone. From feeling like I would never be loved. I never would have believed that life would be so cruel as to make me choose between the two women I have ever really loved. I need to hurt one of them. I would prefer to hurt myself than either of them.
Alice was always untouchable in my mind. she was the inspiration for all of my crushes. The one I couldnt have but always wanted. She was my best friend. From the first day we met, she accepted me for me. We can laugh at anything. We can talk about anything. She makes my worst day better just by being there. She makes my problems hers and does all she can to right them. She loves me. Simply loves me.
To have Alice Piezsecki as a friend is to experience a life force. She comes in full throttle, with all of her. From the day you first speak to her, you get all of her, whether you like it or not. Luckily, the few of us that get to see this side of Alice, like it. She never holds back, good, bad, indifferent, shell tell you like it is, but always with compassion. She isnt harsh or cold, but shes found a way to be honest with all things while always being caring and considerate. Its actually not as easy as it sounds, just ask my mother.
I dont know if Ive ever met anyone as passionate as she is. Not just passionate with lovers, or now with me, can you believe it, with me, but passionate with life. There is so little gray in her world. Its all or nothing. I personally dont know how she keeps it up. It exhausts me and I only watch her do it. She has passion in everything she does, in her friendships, in her work, in her relationships. You never have to question where you stand with her. Its right there, all the time.

Wow! I can feel the turmoil Dana is experiencing. Alice and her are such good friends, they almost deserve to be together. But like Alice said, it’s hard when you are going through turmoil with your lover and you can’t call your best friend to talk about it. Maybe they should just be friends — I do love Lara and Dana together. But in the words of Melvin, it’s human nature to pursue one’s own happiness at the expense of another — in this case Alice’s. In tyme, I’m sure Alice and Dana can go back to being best of friends.
as much as it pains me to say this… LWordFanatic is right. i think that Dana has to get rid of that ‘what if’… because if she doesn’t, it could be the end of her and alice down the line anyway. and she can’t go wrong with alice, because alice will always be her friend.
Three words…Horrible Kitchen Accident, no more “What if!” Wow, I didnt just say that…I used to love Lara’s character last season but now that her being back is causing Alice pain in anyway it just really irks me. Poor Alice…great post by the way, you almost had me tearing up there for a second Lucia.
Well, IC seems to take this predictable storyline. Anyway, I like what are you doing, at least I understand better their actions.
This fan fiction should come with every season two DVD so people will actually understand the Dana and Alice relationship. While that is not likly to happen (lol) it is still a good idea if I do say so myself. I always felt as if I didn’t get a true feeling for Lara becuase of the limited time that was spent fleshing out her character and I got totally invested in Alice because, well, who wouldn’t. I agree with Dana about all of the issues… leaving Alice means leaving a part of Dana behind vs not ever knowing. I think her answer here lies in faith… I can’t lie and say I wouldn’t be very bummed if Ilene steps into the story line she has created, but then again its her choice and Dana’s faith that will determine in which way she is to be happy. *was saying under her breath the whole time choose Alice choose Alice*
