Tina:” Its Rosa I need to answer this” looking at Bette “Hi Rosa, Ok give me couple minutes and I be right there.” closing the phone, looking at Bette “My appointment just showed up, I need to get back.” standing picking up cups and soup bowl.

Bette: wishing they could continue but knowing James is waiting for her as well “I need to get back also.” she smiles and stands up

They put the trash in the container, walking onto the sidewalk both feeling that same awkwardness they shared earlier.

Tina: smiling at Bette “I think this was good for us and we should continue, no matter how difficult working to resolve our past is, we can look forward to being friends in the future.”

Stopping on the sidewalk Bette reaches for Tina’s arm holding her elbow

Bette: “Tina I really enjoyed our visit … I agree its not going to be easy, please don’t be afraid of me, I want us to be friends to.” smiling at Tina she slowly slides her hand down to Tina’s hand holding it for a moment looking into Tina’s eyes, giving her hand a gentle squeeze, she turns and walks towards her car.

Tina: calling out to Bette “I’ll see you later this week at The Planet.” smiling

Bette turns and smiles at Tina giving her a wave good by.  Getting into her car she begins to contemplate their visit. Taking a big breath, starting the car she pulls onto the street heading to work.  Now I have my ex-wife telling me to move on, damn how can we throw away eight years of life because of one mistake …granted one huge mistake … I’m will not give up that easy.  I truly believe Tina ended up with Helena because she was needy and Helena was there at the right time.  She doesn’t look that happy. I sure hope Foxworthy has some time for me this week.  Between Tina wanting me to move on, and Audrey’s proposal I am truly confused.

Tina: greeting her appointment turned to Rosa “Please show Warren to my office” looking at Warren “I will be with you in a minute”

Tina walks into the restroom running the water splashing some on her face. She begins to process Bette’s visit feeling genuinely bad for her being so sad, knowing they are working in the correct direction. She can’t help wondering who Bette was talking about when she said I know who the woman is and she is in my reach was she talking about her new friend Audrey? Now why does that make me feel anxious. We both need to resolve our feelings and get closure… smiling into the mirror she walks out and into her office.
