She slowly approached to Tina and gave her one very tender kiss on the lips.
Both Bette and Tina felt an instant current of electricity ran through their bodies when their lips touched.
To Tina it was unexpected, yet somehow she felt it was meant to be.
To Bette, it felt as though all the kisses she had given in her life were only to prepare her for this one.

Bette slowly broke the kiss, and whispered into Tinas ear:

Tina, I am completely and undeniable *****. And I want you This said, Bette entered the C.A.C leaving an attonished Tina staring at the gallery front door.

Omg Tina thought Omg, omg, omg

She suddenly realized what had just happened. Bette Porter had kissed her, and they were having luch together in four hours.

Jesus, This is going to be a long morning She thought as she walked back to her car A very very, long morning

Changes Chapter 6


Tina spent the entire mornig in cloud-nine, unable to focus in the never ending amount of scripts waiting to be read.
She simply couldnt stop thinking about the events that had took place that morning.
It was…surreal, she had met this gorgeous brunette about only three hours ago, she had thougth this woman was straight and then she had realized that she wasnt, when Bette had kissed her.

And my god, what a kiss Thougth Tina as she stared at the ceiling in a gaze

My God, my God, my ***** God She sighed shaking her head

My God what Tina? Aked her assistant who had just, unbeknown to Tina, entered the office

Uh, nothing Melannie Answered Tina distractedly

Ok boss, whatever you want to believe Replied Melannie

For Gods sake!,Am I that easy to read?

Oh, yes you are chuckled Melannie I can tell something is up with you. So tell me tell me! whatssup? Now, Melannie was being incredibly nosy.
This it weird, shes not usually like this Tina Thought, and then, it dawned on her

Okay Mel, wheres Alice and how much is she paying you? She asked.

Melannie sighed in defeat and said:

Outside…I told her I didnt want to, but she..

She what? Said that she would kill you? and haunt your children and your childrens children in their nightmares? Asked tina sarcastically

Okay Sighed Melannie I was curious too, you were al cheery and happy this mornign, I wanted to know…please dont be mad at me boss

Its okay Mel, Im mad at Alice, shes SUCH a pain in the ***** sometimes Tina said, aware that alice was probabl with her aer glued to the door, hearing everything they were saying

Sure enough, Alice stormed into the office :

So, now Im a pain in the *****, uh? Im just worried about my friend! Is that such a bad thing?? she asked melodramatically
I want to know what happened with the straight chick She demanded

Alice, Alice sighed tina Nothing happened she added, unaware of the grin that appeared in her face at the mere mention of Bette Porter

Okay, okay, okay, wait!. What was that?

What was what? Asked Tina looking around

That huge goofy grin you have across you face Kennard!!

Well, I guess Im in a good mood Giggled Tina

Ok, spill it Kennard! What happened with the straight girl? Asked Alice, who looked as if she was going to explode if she didnt get some information soon, very soon

Oh Al, Bette Porter is NO straight girl

Wow! Thats great right? Said Alice excitedly Wait…How did you find out?

Well, I must admit it was no easy task. I had to use all my deductive skills Tina explained But after having thoroughly analyzed the situation, Ive come to the conclusion that the fact that she kissed me, might mean shes not althogether straigth

Oh My Godness! SHE kissed YOU? Woa! How was it? Was it any good? Are you seeing her again?

Im having lunch with her at …. Tina looked at her watch Now! Jesus! Alice I Have to go! Tina breezed past alice

See you later! She said as she grabbed her purse and exited the office

Oh my, this is certanely one eventful morning thought Alice as chuckled at the sight of Tina rushing towards the elevator knocking down her assitant in the process.

It was Bettes first day in her new job at the C.A.C, so she had spent her morning being introduced to the staff and the board of directors. When she finally had met everyone she had to, kissed all the asses she had to, she went to her new office to relax for a while. She had just sit in her desk when her assintant John entered the office.

John was the only one in her staff that Bette already knew. He had started working as her assintant in her gallery back in Philadelphia about a month before she had decided to leave, and she had managed to convince him to come to L.A to work for her in the C.A.C

Im sorry Ms. Porter, theres a Tina Kennard looking for you He said

Oh thanks, Ill be right out She replied And John?

Yes Ms Porter?

Its not enough for me that you say your sorry every time you have to tell me something. From now on you will adress to me as Beloved Master if you want to keep this job, Ms. Porter is way too informal she joked
Now seriously, call me Bette, please? You make me feel so old when you call me Ms Porter

Your wish is my command, oh my Beloved Master he answered making a reverence

Bette playfully smacked her assitant in the head and left the office.

Bette Porter, for the very first time in her adult life, was really nervous about meeting someone. She wondered if it had been a mistake to kiss Tina that morning.

*****, Ionly met her this morning, she must think Im ***** insane Bette thougth as she walked throught the gallery searching for the blonde that occupied herevery thought Maybe I am, but I like this woman, please God, dont let me ***** this up…
Finally, Bette found Tina in the main gallery looking closely at a painting

There you are Bette said placing a hand in Tinas shoulder

Here I am Tina replied feeling instantly arrounsed by Bettes subtle touch

Shall we go? Bette asked letting her hand linger in Tinas shoulder a little more than necessary

Please Answered Tina, and both women left the gallery feeling this would be lunch to remember.
