Camilla Vega, a beautiful Hispanic young 19 year old girl sleeps soundly in her room at night. She slightly tossed and turns in her bed as the dreams that were in her mind began to plague her. As the nightmares became more vivid and gruesome, so did her thrashing. Broken images of the dream came to her.

She was transported into some one else’s body. She was seeing their memories and feeling her pain.

A Blonde woman was within her vision as she looked in horror at the scene that was unfolding in front of her eyes.

She was holding onto the frightened blonde haired lady that was whimpering. She held onto her for dear life.

“Dana…I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” The blonde woman sobbed in her arms over and over again. Her tear stained face was too much for her to bear. Her courage was fading fast.

“It’s ok Alice. It’s not your fault” she coaxed her as she tried to comfort her sobbing girlfriend. Four faces looked down at her. All of them with cocky grins plastered over them. She could tell that they were policemen from the badges that were hanging onto their belts.

“Alice!” She screamed her lovers name as they fired a round into the blonde girl’s chest. She bent down and held the dying girl in her arms as she sobbed. The dying lady looked up at her lover, coughing up blood.

“Dana…”

She was staring down into the barrel of a gun when a loud bang came from the revolver.

A big black bird was flying towards her, soaring gracefully in her direction.

Camilla bolted from her bed. The same dream came to her for the 5^th time in a row. She breathed in heavily as she took in her surroundings. She looked around her familiar bed room as a rush of relief came over her.

She noticed the painting that was next to her bed post. She got up and took the paining from her wall and studied it. She smiled at the abstract uses of dark colors and morbid settings. As much as she loved this painting she couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling that was in the back of her head. Yet there was something about this particular picture that she couldn’t put her finger on.

Suddenly it hit her. Camilla gasped at the sight she was seeing. She looked closer at the subtle yet visible image that was in the corner of the portrait. The same black bird that was in her dreams was also in the same picture. She was always a superstitious woman and she believed that certain coincidences happened for a reason. She knew that her dreams were always a gate way to what was going to happen in the future. Along with the same vision of the dark bird in the picture as well in her nightmares, she sensed that something big was about to come.

She felt a cold shiver rushing through her body. Almost as if some one else was in the room with her.

“A storm is coming.” She whispered to her self as she set the picture back onto the wall.
