Closer than before
The next morning, Bette enters the living room to wake Tina. It was after seven and she knew Tina was tired. She’d reset the alarm four times and Tina still wasn’t budging. She was afraid she’d be late for work, so she decides to wake her up personally.
“T, sweetie, wake up,” Bette says, shaking Tina lightly.
“Huh?” Tina replies, opening her eyes, and then shutting them once the sunlight beams strongly into them.
“It’s time to get up,” Bette says, pulling the sheet from her body and sitting down next to her.
“Mmm…” Tina moans and rubs her eyes some more. “What time is it?” She asked, looking for a clock.
Bette raises her wrist and replies, “It’s after seven.”
“Shit,” Tina says, burying her face into the pillow,” I’m late.”
“I’m sorry,” Bette replies, rubbing her face and neck. “Are you hungry?” She asked, wondering what else she could do. Tina was already late and she felt like it was her fault. Maybe she should’ve of woken her up after all, she thought.
“A little. But, I’ll probably end up grabbing something from the planet. I’m supposed to meet Kate Arden there this morning,” Tina replies, sitting up now. “She’s bringing her assistant with her. I’m guessing she wants to enlighten him on what we’ve been doing. I can’t possibly understand what good his ideas will do, anyway. He’s a man, Bette. What does he know about lesbianism?”
“Shit,” Bette replies, chuckling. “I wish I could be there to support you. I’d give him a piece of my own mind,” Bette adds, standing so Tina could have space to move around.
“I know,” Tina says, standing to meet her. “I wish you could be there too…”
“Ma-ma,” Angelica says, entering the living room, trying her hardest to balance her weight on her own two legs.
“Hey, sweetie,” Tina replies, smiling, picking her up, and holding her tight in her arms. “How did you sleep? Did you sleep well last night?” Tina asked, expecting for Angelica to talk back. She was only used to say ma-ma or no-no. Those were her two favorite words, for now, at least.

Oh and I was first :) nice one, never happened before haha
Great story going on here, thank god Jodi has gone, some B&T time is always great. look forward to the next chapter.
I love seeing them as the family they should be!
Jodi must have something seriously wrong with her to go after Tina with Angie being right there. I’m so glad that Bette told her to leave. I love your story C! More please!
good … i’m glad you got rid of jodie… now as long as she stays away… PPS
Finally you posted now! I was wodering when you’d gonna post but now i’m happy you did and hope that you’d keep posting more often when the time permits you though lol…Great job C.
So glad you got rid of Jodie. Tina took that pretty soon. If she had seen Jodie pushing Bette it would have been a different tale. thanks
Good that Jodi is out of the picture. Now let see all about B&T and happy to see them together. Ok let see whats next, thanks!
I can live with them being Bette and Tina again and with Angelica. Too bad Jodi would not stop pushing the issue with Angelica sitting right there with them. I could understand her getting upset but screaming with the baby around is not cool. Now on to putting their lives back together and starting the whole family thing right (including the gang).
sweet…..more
