Collision Course 4.29
Late Thursday Afternoon
“I wanna go home,” whined Angelica in a very Bette like voice.
“We are going home,” assured Tina, signing the last of the discharge paper work, Sam standing at the foot of the bed, tossing a ball back and forth with Angelica.
“To mommy Bette’s house…,” pouted the girl, crossing her arms and not catching the last toss from Sam.
“I told you…”
“NO! I WANNA GO HOME!” yelled the girl, making Sam grimace at the high pitched screeching noise that came from the darling little girls mouth. The one thing she didn’t miss, was the tantrums.
“So why don’t you stay with me tonight?” offered Bette from the door. “If that’s ok with you, Tina?”
Tina sighed, now she looked like the bad guy if she said no, but she didn’t want to be away from Angelica. There would be no harm in staying at Bette’s, she did have an appointment an Bette would take care of Angelica for
“You can stay too, if you want,” added Bette seeing the look on Tina’s face.
“Ok, but ONLY for tonight,” threatened Tina, wagging her finger at Angelica, who looked like she’d just won the lottery. “We go home afterwards…”
“Pool, I wanna go in the pool….,” sang the little girl.
“No pool,” said Sam. “Bad germs.”
“Pooey,” snorted Angelica.
“All signed?” asked Sam, turning to Tina, who handed the papers to Sam. “Then, get the heck outta here, Angie. Git, I don’t wanna see you back in my ER for a long time to come, got me?”
“Yes, Captain!” said Angelica, snapping a half ass salute to Sam, who groaned and rolled her eyes. “You are dismissed,” added Angelica with a giggle.
“Ok, Admiral Adama. You two have a good night,” smiled Sam.
“Hey Sam?” asked Bette quickly.
Sam turned, looking at Bette with her clear grey eyes, “Yup?”
“Are you coming to The Planet tomorrow night? I know Kit invited a few people…”
Sam paled, biting her lip, “Um, no… but…”

I never comment but I love your stories so much and I don’t want you to think people don’t care that I am commenting this once. I have figuered you out! Your a tease, hinting at possible couples, bringing back Lara and not even a glance from S&S. What next?

LOL Oh my God, you are a trouble maker!!! This line totally cracked me up…”Now, I’m going to go look at a house, before my wife decides that something bigger would be better. Brava! Must applaud how you fused two of my favorite stories together. Joss & Becs do have a happily ever after…awww. O.K You’ve succeeded, I feel like shit for not commenting on your last story lol, but I do have a valid excuse. Anywho, maybe Lara & Alice can find there way back to one another. Hope Bette tells Jo before her guilt seeps off her like cheap perfume. Have to give Angelica a hand as well for throwing the kind of tantrum that makes me happy to be kiddy free. Great stuff JM.

Wow….awesome…how will Jo react when Bette tells her? Or does she already know (she has special powers ya know…lol) I like that comment that was made…she thinks bigger is better can’t let her shop for houses or strap ons…lol. Does Tina really want Bette? Or is she trying to mess with her happiness? You know this Tibetter…if there is a sliver of hope and Tina is sincere…well…
Okay, whenever I read this story (or ANY story, really) I hope for a Sharmen storyline, but it doesn’t always seem to happen. That’s cool, you’re completely entitled to your own ideas and that’s absolutely cool. I just thought I’d drop a line and help bring up that one percent. And since I DID read the story, I thought it would only be fair to let you know what thoughts it brought to my molasses-filled brain. The actual writing, though, is pretty fricken good. Wherever you take this story, I’m sure it will be well-written. =)
And I am always hoping for a TiBette story. Maybe Tina can win Bette back?, but I do like Jo….I’m just in love with TiBette.
