Two Days Later

Serafina and Raquel were just arrived home. Serafina had put the little baby immediately in her crib that was standing in the teen’s room. Jackson had also bought a little closet for the baby. The gift from Bette and Tina was a whole of clothes. They had also had a lot of toys for the little girl but also just money. Helena bought them a changing table. Because the first 6 months Raquel would be in Bette’s house, Serafina and Bette had talked about some rules. Bette would pay half the bills that were related to the baby but that was it. Jack and Sera had to care for their child themself. Of course if it was really needed Bette would babysit but it wasn’t the intention that Bette would do that every week. Maybe once or twice a month.

Sera had to go back to school in 2 months because then she had a month to prepare for the exams. Her best friend, Wanda, would help her and next weekend, the girl would come by and give her her homework. She would also help her with preparing for the exams. Serafina was very thankful for that.

She was still sore and couldn’t walk around much. While Raquel was sleeping, she slept to because she was exhausted. All the feeding and changing diapers every few hours was just tiring.

Jackson would visit as much as he could. Bette told him he could stay at night if he wanted but not in Serafina’s room. Bette didn’t want to go through this again.

Sebastian was on his room making some homework while Bette and Tina sat on the couch. Bette was laying in Tina’s arms because she was also very tired. She had worried about Serafina the past days.

“Raquel is beautiful, isn’t she?” Tina asked while letting her fingers glide through Bette’s hair.

“Yeah… she is. I’m so glad she and Sera are okay. God, I was so worried about something going wrong.” Bette said.

“I know, baby, but they are okay now. You don’t have to worry anymore.”

“I know…” Bette said. Her eyelids were feeling heavy and then she drifted off to sleep. Tina smiled. She loved how cute Bette looked when she was asleep. She kissed the brunette on her brow and smiled again. She couldn’t believe how happy she was that she was back with Bette. Her life was going well and she liked it. She had the love of her life back, her kids were healthy and happy, she just had her first grandchild and at work, everything was going good. She was snapped out of her thoughts by Serafina walking in the living room, looking sleepy.
