    They stood before one another, drinking each other in and reveling in the enormity of what was about to unfold.

     

    It was not about hesitancy, or shyness. No… It was about knowing how important, how portentous this very moment was for them. They were about to engage in their ultimate act of love and they wanted to cherish this instant because it was one that they would remember for the rest of their lives.  

     

    They had let the urgency take over, a few moments ago on the balcony, but now they could feel their emotions catching up with them as well as the first sting of tears in their eyes.

     

    Bette raised her hand to the blonde’s cheek, and let her thumb caress it softly. Tina leaned into her palm and closed her eyes. As she did, a tear escaped her eye and Bette bent over to kiss it away. She let her lips linger there for a moment, then descend to the blonde’s mouth. The kiss was soft, and filled with love and tenderness. She took her time, tasting her lover’s lips slowly, lazily… endlessly.

     

    Tina sighed against her lips and moved closer, letting her hands find their way to the brunette’s sides and slowly slide, like the sweetest caress, toward her back. There, she softly started to draw small patterns that slowly descended toward Bette’s lower back, and lingered at the rim of her pants.

     

    The brunette’s hands mirrored their mates’ actions but, bolder, they started to pull on Tina’s shirt and slowly lift it up, softly caressing the blonde’s sides on the way. Tina raised her arms and drew away from Bette’s lips long enough to take off the garment.

     

    The brunette’s gaze immediately lowered to Tina’s upper body and feasted over her shoulders, her collarbone, her tight stomach… Then her eyes finally rested on her breasts and she sighed heavily as her desire grew.

     

    Tina shivered under the intensity of Bette’s gaze and gasped when the brunette leaned into her chest and started kissing her skin. She felt her lips travel from her neck to her collarbone and finally reach the delicate spot between her breasts where she lingered, running her tongue sensually over the exposed skin.
