Bette was sitting outside with a cup of water. She was sitting, spacing out, just thinking. She heard the door open, and she looked back. Tina came outside with Destiny and walked over by Bette. She took a seat on the chair and looked at Bette. Bette took another drink of her water and kept looking away from Tina.

“Bette, are you still upset about last night?” Bette looked at Tina and sat her cup down.

“T, I really don’t want to talk about this right now. I just want to be alone.” Tina looked at Bette.

“Babe, I don’t want you mad at me for something I was a little right about.”

“Tina, when I’m ready to talk about this, I’ll come to you. So can you please just leave me in peace?” Tina looked at Bette again and got up from the chair. She put Destiny on her hip and walked into the house. Bette sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. She grabbed her cup and took a drink. She slipped out of her shoes and walked over to the pool. She put her feet in the pool and sat there. One day, she doesn’t have to deal with people from her job. She can finally relax and chill in her own home.

“Bette?” Bette shot her head to the door.

“WHAT?!” Tina stepped back and looked at Bette with disbelief. Her face started to fill with tears.

“You have a phone call.” Tina walked back into the house and headed to the bedroom. Bette walked into the house and picked up the phone.

“Hello?” She tugged at her shirt.

“Hey Bette, it’s Rose.” Bette’s face turned when she heard Rose speak.

“What do you want?” Rose took a deep breath.

“I just called to tell you that I’m sorry. What happened last night was not my idea. It was all Helena’s, I really hope that you can forgive me.”  Bette sighed and walked around the kitchen.

“Rose, I know what happened last night was really childish. It was disrespectful to me cause it was my very first art show. You and Helena screwed that up for me by ruining my night. I can’t believe you would do something like that, and it was also your night too. I really don’t know if I can forgive you for that.”
