    A Tibette Beginning

    Chapter 29

    Previously….

    Bette’s words were music to James’ ears. He had always worried about Bette and the hours she put in and the intensity of those hours. There was a time he thought for sure she would have a heart attack before she was 40. That was not the case anymore, and he couldn’t be happier. The new Bette Porter would be a force to be reckoned with but for all different reasons this time. Time flew by and before she knew it she only had time for a quick tour of the gallery before she had to go to pick the girls up from school.

    “Thanks James for everything… give me a call when the office is ready Ok.”

    “You got it Bette. It’ll be good to have you back in the place!” He said as he gave her a hug and she left on her way to get the girls.

    Bette stood there for a moment and just watched the girls playing out on the play ground. Loving every moment of watching them.

    ‘just look at my girls… they really are my girls now’ she thought to herself. Her moment was interrupted as soon as Sky caught sight of her.

    “Mommy!” she yelled as she ran over to Bette.

    “Hi Baby Girl… are you ready to go shopping?”

    “YEAH!!”

    “Well get your Sissy and get your backpacks so we can get going.”

    “Ok” Sky took off running and yelling “Ley Ley let’s go Mommy’s here!” The girl’s excitement made Bette happy… very happy! Before she knew it there were two little blond haired, hazel eyed girls backpacks in hand before her ready to go.

    “Alright girls lets go.. it’s time to tear up the stores!” The cheers she heard was music to her ears, and honestly she didn’t know who was more excited her or the girls.

    “Mommy what are we getting for our room?” Hailey asked

    “Curtains, sheets, comforter, and who knows what we will find.”

    “Can we get pink?” Hailey asked.

    “Sure baby.. whatever you want.”

    2. GREAT chapter, I am glad that Bette got through her first displenary patch with the girls and was able to reassure them. Colin is sooooooooo cutr with Tina and Bette will also love the pictures. I LOVE how this family is continuing to grow together. PPS :o).

    9. Boy, the girls sure had a great day with Bette, they knew she would not say No to them. She could have drawn the line but knew they would be sorely disappointed.And as she said one look in those hazel eyes and she was a goner. Tina will love the room and we know she is going to cry her heart out but Bette will have a great evening with Mommy when the kids are in bed. Bette will be repaid in such a lovely and hot loving way. Hope she’s not too tired. Can hardly wait for the next post. PPS

    11. Poor Bette, three Kennard women she just doesn’t stand a chance. Wait till Tina sees all the stuff she bought. Love the girls and Colin. Great job Bette did of letting the girls know that even when there are times she’s upset with them, it doesn’t change the fact that she loves them.

    14. Oh those poor babies, I could just feel their fear of losing their mommy’s love on DAY ONE of their new life so to speak. Bette is such a sucker but a lovely one that she won’t mind at all that’s she spent large on the girlz. Now hows Colin gonna feel? and is T gonna be all practical on her woman? I hope not. Plz come back soon.
