“She’s changed Kit.. what if I don’t fit anymore.. what if she doesn’t have time..”
“Hey now.. she will always have time for you. You are her best friend.. she has missed you terribly, and if you are worried about Tina coming between the two of you forget it. She wouldn’t do it.. and Bette wouldn’t allow it if she tried. This is a big night for them girl. A big night for all of us. So put a smile on that face of yours and let’s get back there.”
“Kit…”
“Yeah..”
“Thanks”
“Forget about it girl” Kit put her arm around Alice and they headed off to the back of the gallery.”

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Bette Porter Gallery. I would like to thank you all for joining us here tonight for this very special evening. As you all know tonight is the grand opening of the children’s wing of the gallery. The works that will be showcased here tonight will be from the children involved in the local area art programs. The artists all range from age five through eighteen, and in order to be shown here tonight must not only excel in their respective art programs but must also excel scholastically. As you all know our school systems are all struggling financially and an astronomical number of art programs are being cut forcing these children into either abandoning their passion or costly private art programs. All of the funds raised this evening will go into a scholarship fund to help insure that the artists you see here this evening will be the artists that you return here to see in the main gallery in the future. Thank you all again for joining us here this evening, I truly hope you enjoy your evening here with us and enjoy the works of these exceptional young artists.”
Tina watched with pride as Bette turned to cut the ribbon and allow the guests entrance into the new Children’s wing of the gallery and couldn’t wait to get in there to see Colin’s pictures on display.

Hey TB513, What a wonderful event. The kids had a ball and really enjoyed showing off their art. The monies raised will go to an awesome cause, providing the next generation of artists with some much needed financial help for the future. Kit was great in giving Bette and Tina some adult time. Colin is a real star and a sweet child. Seems like he had fun and was proud of his achievements. It was fun to have Bette and Tina taking full advantage of the empty gallery and indulge in some precious loving. They just rock each other’s worlds. And you take me along on this marvelous journey.
