    Chapter 49

    “Thank you guys so much”

    “Yes it is beautiful… you did an amazing job” Bette added.

    “We just wanted to do something to cheer you guys up.” Shane said with a hit of shyness in her voice.

    “It is wonderful, we both love it thank you… thank you all.” As Bette spoke a child like smile grew on Shane’s face. Bette’s heart broke for her, in that moment she could see the damage that had been done to her over the years. She really is just looking for a family to accept her. In that moment Bette vowed to her self she would see to it that Shane had the family she desired.. and deserved.

    The weeks passed quickly. Tina took the first week off completely so she could be at home with Bette when she had gotten home from the hospital, and had cut her hours down tremendously and only worked from home. As much as Bette didn’t like Tina putting her life on hold that was going to be the way it was until the baby was born. Tina wanted to be home with Bette and the kids, and she was growing very happy with the new arrangement. Bette was painting in the nursery, and Tina was working in the living room. She had been banished from the nursery last week when Bette started painting and hadn’t been allowed in since. She was dieing to see what Bette was up to, but at the same time wanted to let Bette do this for the baby. Bette was keeping her end of the deal by not painting more than an hour or two at a time so Tina decided she would keep her end of the deal and stay out of the nursery until the painting was finished. Tina was pulled from her thoughts by the door bell. She thought it was strange, they weren’t expecting any one, the girls were all working, and never rang the bell anyway. She peeked out the window but did not recognize the man standing at the door. She cautiously opened the door.

    “Hello”

    5. What a horrible thing to want to do to children you supposedly love!! There is no way you can sign over your parental rights at birth, disappear for years, then poof you show up demanding FULL custody?! Blow me Trevor!!! (Sorry, couldn’t help myself!)     7. With Joyce on the case, Trevor should not even get a look at the girls. Not only did he sign away his rights, he has not been there money wise or physically. Bette is so good with Tina and of course Shane always being there for them.

    9. Joyce is one of the most ruthless attorneys ever and she will tear him a new one. Just hope Jodi doesn’t try something similiar. People are just crazy.

    10. A lot of drama for B&T, that Trever gave up his right by signing the papers when the girls were born, I don’t think a single court in the land would give him anything more than supervised visitation. Thanks 513, Md

    11. That asshole, why now, after all of these years? he got his conscious back from the free market or what??? They are strong together, I just know it, and they will get through this, he is not going to get away with it. Bette is so good for Tina and their family should stay intact like it is. Don’t let anything happen to them please, and post soon dear, it was a wonderful chapter and I can’t wait for Joice to get there and tell them what they can do to win this battle. Thanks Love

    12. F-in jerk!! Good thing they live in California! They may have temporarily passed a ban on gay marriage, but other than that, Joyce should be able to beat the snot out of this guy, and humiliate him in the process!! Go Joycey baby!!!
