A Tibette Beginning

Chapter 6

Tina headed into the kitchen to fix dinner wondering how she would get the extra red meat in her daughter. As she fixed dinner her mind wandered to the brunette she saw in the waiting room. It was really nothing more than a passing glance but somehow the brunette had invaded her thoughts. Tina found herself drawn to her and didn’t know why.

“Goodnight Mommy”

“Good night Little Man sleep sweet” Bette watched her son snuggle down into the covers and drifted off to sleep before going into the kitchen to make some tea. As she waited for the kettle her mind filled with thoughts of the beautiful blond. Bette was captivated with her, the obvious love she had for her daughters. Bette couldn’t help but wonder what was wrong with the little girl. Bette sat down on the couch and opened her laptop. ‘What could it hurt it’s not like I’m going to find her’ she thought to herself as she pulled up her favorite search engine. She took a deep breath and continued to type KENNARD LOS ANGELES. Bette was amazed… all of the hits on the first page seemed to lead to the same person, one Christina Kennard. Bette couldn’t believe it… what are the chances of it being her? Bette sat there for a moment trying to gather the nerve to click on a link to see if it was her. She finally clicked on a link for Alphaville Studios and was amazed at what she saw… A bio on the one and only Tina Kennard complete with a photograph of the beautiful blond. Bette took her time reading the bio, taking in every of information that she could about the blond movie executive. Once Bette had read and reread the bio and seriously contemplated the existence of fate and its role in her life, she picked up her phone and called Kit.

“What’s going on Baby Girl”

“What are you doing Kit?”

“Nothing much. What’s wrong?”

“Nothings wrong in fact something is very right! I need you to come over so I can show you something.”

“I’m on my way.”
