Daughters of Kirk and Spock, post 17
“Alert, alert, Royal Consort to the bridge.”
Bette woke and rolled to her feet automatically dressing though she stole a glance at Christina who was likewise dressing with quiet efficiency. Goddess she was beautiful. That thought was derailed as the alert sounded again.
They strode through the vessel Captain and First Officer and onto the bridge.
“Report” Porter barked.
Kennard was at a loss unable to move to the scanners in her current role.
“Princess please scan the area.” Porter ordered to the surprise of the Antarians.
“This is most irregular” Henry protested.
“She has the finest mind I have ever come across; she will do as I command.” Porter backed him down.
“Scanning” Kennard’s efficient voice cut off the argument.
“I am still waiting for your report Commander” Porter looked pointedly at Henry.
“Three highly armed vessels on an intercept course. Critical range twenty minutes and counting.”
“Identity?”
Henry shrugged. “We are four to their three if your vessel has any firepower we shall easily prevail.”
“Have you forgotten that this vessel is unarmed and unshielded? Any risk to the Princess is unacceptable.”
Henry balked at her imperious attitude yet she was right. His eyes narrowed with grudging respect.
“Ion signatures indicate Turians though their vessels bear the markings of Balkins.” Kennard informed them.
“What?!” the Director, Henry and Port all reacted with shock.
“Battle stations.” Porter ordered. “All vessels battle stations, diamond formation on the Royal Vessel.” Bette did not need to know the particulars. She was a master of reading threat and danger.
“With all shields raised in this formation what is the likelihood of a successful hit on the Royal Vessel?”
“Less than three percent, Captain.” Kennard answered.
Again heads turned as the duo worked together seamlessly.
“So shall we find out what they want?” Porter now turned to the Director who understood the politics of what they were facing.
“They want to start intergalactic war, Captain.”
“Excuse me?” Porter shot back the danger on this mission was to her understanding symbolic not real.
“If the Princess” she nodded to Kennard “is correct in her assessment the Turians plan to initiate and interstellar incident which will undermine the Balkins who hold the most military power in the galaxy second to the crown. If the two major powers are at war the Turians simply choose a side and advance their standing. They are not known for their honor.”

I have order the Star dvds You migt be almost finish but I will better understand what you wrote about. I;m srill reading. thanks
Well Kelika…Let it swell, Let it swell, Let it swell! What a buzz…this chapter was so well written, it was like watching a Star Trek episode. Add to that mix Bette and Tina and you have a winning combination. You know, I just may start a petition to have a new Star Trek…Star Trek, The Lesbian Generation, starring Jennifer Beals and Laurel Holloman, written by Kelika…sounds good to me!
K, you are so good at writing this.
Jennifer Beals asCaptain Kirk-Porter could be like Greta Garbo as Queen Christina. I can picture the thigh-high leather boots. With her physical fitness she’d cut a great figure. Thanks!
It was like I was watching an episode of Star Trek and enjoying my favorite human and vulcan (Elizabeth and Christina). If you must end this story please bring on a sequel.
Go Bette!
What a perfect combination of the team Kennard/Porter!!! A great chapter K!!
Kelika, love this story. You’re doing a wonderful job with this because you have captured my attention, which is an amazing feat in itself. Love the way you write our girls, always. Bette will protect er at all costs. My question is, “will they have little Tina’s and Bette’s? Thanks for keeping our girls and their love alive and well.
Say it’s not so…Only four chapters left? There are more adventures to be had with these two! I’ll throw it out there then…sequel? Maybe? Petty please? Not to proud to beg…
”you have just elevated your status by deed to Royal Guardian of the Spectrum.” – Doesn’t sound so bad to me; wouldn’t Bette like to be the protector of a rainbow, k?… ;-)
4 more posts??? there is soooo much more you can write. I am so glad one of my favorite people on this site turned me on to this story. I kept going by it because it was “Star Trek”…now I can’t get enough. Thanks you. pps
Wow, kelika… you have brought out my inner geek!! I almost didn’t read the story because while I know what Star Trek is, I have never seen the show. I don’t know half of what you are talking about, but am so glad I starting reading today and couldn’t stop through 17 amazing chapters. Fantastic writing, as always, and your using Elizabeth and Christina is somehow so incredibly sexy. I’m hoping that you’re underestimating your guess of only four more posts!
