Daughters of Kirk and Spock, post 31

Rhaina turned to her second daughter and saw her with new eyes.  She had loved Elizabeth since her birth.  Kirk her sire was her husband’s closest friend though the two could not be more different than the other.  If they had not served together they probably would never have developed the legendary friendship or command team that was the model for Starships in the fleet to this day.

Kirk was passionate and unapologetically human.  He loved risk and adventure and would trust a hunch more often than scientific fact.  He loved to gamble, compete and win.  Spock was deliberate, contained, relentless, highly logical and fiercely loyal.  They both were.  She saw it now how much alike these daughters of Kirk and Spock were to their sires.

“Daughter of ritual and of bond of affection I could not be more pleased to welcome you as the mate of my daughter by birth.  I have loved you since your birth and could not love you more if you were my own and now you are twice over.”  Rhaina grabbed Elizabeth and held her close.

Again she was shocked by the connection that she could feel with her daughter when she touched Elizabeth this time.  It was as if she was holding them both at once.  The warmth was the same but here with Elizabeth the joy was unrestrained.  Elizabeth was totally and blissfully in love with Christina.

“Daughter of the Mothers you love her with all that you are.”  Rhaina exclaimed causing Elizabeth to brown slightly evidencing her embarrassment at her public declaration of this fact.  She missed her mother Lt. Uhura who had been lost when Elizabeth was but eight years old.

She remembered her warmth missing over the years and even more on the day before her wedding when women needed their mothers.  Both Christina and Rhaina experienced her sudden rush of melancholy.  Rhaina held her more tightly and Elizabeth understanding that she felt her pain through the meld felt tears well in her eyes.

“What’s this? Tears?  Rheana exclaimed watching the interaction. “This is no time for tears but of celebration.  Get away from her Rhaina.  I will care for this one as if she were wedding my own daughter.  If it distresses you to marry Christina so much I would love for you to wed Serena.  I would welcome one such as you to the Spectrum.”

    1. Merry Christmas K, thanks for the update and for clarifying Elizabeth’s parentage…I can see Lt. Uhuru as her mother…but knowing the sexually adventurous nature of Captain Kirk…the possibilities were infinite. Give our eternal thanks to your wife for lending you to us for these magnificent adventures you take us on. I’m sure she and your muse are closely connected and work hand in hand to inspire you…and may even be one and the same. Thanks for giving us a FANFICtastic christmas and may you have lots of love, joy, good health and great inspiration for the New Year.

    2. Bathing can be so dirty. Especially when all the relatives are in earshot. Still, I’d rather have either one of them than a rubber ducky. Do they have bachelorette parties? Could they have an Elvis there? At the reception?

    3. So…..I guess that tradition of the betrotheds not seeing each other on their wedding day is a useless Earthly trifle. Thank you for the many consecutive posts this week! Noel! …I await the sequel: “Daughter of the Daughters of Kirk and Spock”. I hope I do not displease the author, or jump the blaster. Thanks

    4. Can’t they keep their hands off each other when they’re together in the same room??? Is it possible for them to resist that urgency of mating everytime they’re alone???? kelika I’m fascinated with this fic =D I think it was my christmas present xD Have a happy holiday ;)

    5. The last comment by Elizabeth and Christina had me blushing and then Amanda’s comment was had me rolling. Awww the beautiful Lt. Uhura as Elizabeth’s mother was a delight to read. Merry Christmas to you and your family and thank your wife for allowing you time to write.

    6. Hahahaha…”we are coming”…”Yes we all know that”…Hahahaha…brilliant, just brilliant! I love you for posting this at such a bust time of the year. Merry Christmas to you and your family Kelika!

    7. I’m late into this story and just managed to catch-up. Never been much of a star trek fan but found this story to be intriguingly alluring. Moreover, your writing is amazing. Thank you kelika…I’m totally enjoying every minute of it. Season’s greetings and best wishes for the new year.
