Elizabeth watched with mixed emotions as her mate defended her place. While she had no doubt that Christina would prevail in the upcoming fight if it was to the death she feared how Christina would deal with the blood on her hands once she returned to her normal state.
She made her way from the place she waited to Rheana and Serena who stood in wings. “You must put a stop to this.”
“Why Rachael has earned her comeuppance?” Rheana snorted.
“If Christina kills her which I am afraid in this state she will when she comes to herself she may feel differently about this action. I don’t want to lose any part of her. Taking a life exacts a cost that I do not want her to pay.”
Rheana considered Elizabeth’s words. “You are well matched.” She narrowed her eyes. “What a pity that you could not have fallen for her twin. I will not stop the fight but it will not be to the death. Christina deserves the right to defend her honor and dissuade any who would challenge her.”
Elizabeth nodded admitting that if the roles were reversed she would not be satisfied without delivering a lesson to any who dared to touch her woman. Just the idea of it made her blood burn and she was not Vulcan or Romulan. Christina made her crazy.
“Fair enough” Elizabeth agreed aloud.
“You shall answer with your life for your transgressions” Christina shouted.
Rachael was only mildly alarmed. She after all held all that was dear to her cousin Christina.
“You forget that I hold your betrothed.” Rachael answered her rising from her seat. “If you harm me you will never see her again. Use your logic Vulcan or are you not.”
“Do you really believe that I would allow you or anyone else to hold what is precious to me?”
A shiver went down Rachel’s spine. Christina did not behave as one who was on the defensive. She was certain that she held the ace. “Guard!” She shouted.
Everyone watched as the Romulan Guard remained stationary.
“Guard!” Rachael shouted again.
Rheana flanked by Serena and Elizabeth entered the room. Rhaina rose and moved beside her daughter. The Romulan guard knelt.

Go Tina, go! I loved how Bette just grabbed her and kissed her in front of everyone! Can’t wait for part 2.
My sympathies for you are limited kelika, you may hate fights, and well you should, but sometimes they are necessary. And Tina NEEDS to kick Rachael’s ass to the other end of the galaxy. For so many reasons. (For chrissakes you picked a Star Trek crossover! It’s a freaking space Western! They gotta have a fight!) So if the must be a fight (and there must), make it a good one. As in all things, a thing worth doing is worth doing well.
“I cannot let the challenge go unanswered. In respect for our house I will not take life.”…Do I hear a slight whimpering coming from Princess Rachael?
You may hate fights Kelika, but I have every confidence that you can write them…you can write anything well. Your stories have great variety and range and I’m positive that you will do the next chapter the justice that you do every one. Fabulous update!

i agree with all of those who say it will be a sad day when this story comes to an end. Luckily it will be archived as one of my favorites.

Totally agree with Arwen487, Kick Rachael’s ass, she deserves it. We love Alpha Tina especially when she acts in defense of Bette, her true love, she is Awesome and HOT as Hell. Rachael deserves this ass-whipping and Tina is the one to do it. At least she won’t kill her. Like you, I too, dislike violence or fights of any kind. but this story begs for it. You can do this, let Tina give her a butt whipping that she and everyone else will always remember. It will put a stop to those who choose to challenge those that are “melded.” Rachael should be very happy that Tina’s mother stopped her from being killed because Tina would have done it, the challenge required it and Bette was right Tina would not have felt victorious when it ended, she is a peaceful soul. You can do this, it is just another aspect of their lives and must be so honored. GO FOR IT. I can hardly wait. I hate to see this story end.

Damn, this is good and a little scary at the same time. I fear that Rachael could do major damage to the Warrior Princess Christina. Keep the melded ones safe.
Rachael doesn’t have to die but Tina definitely have to whoop that @ss. I don’t believe in fighting unless absolutely necessary and believe me Tina has earned the right to kick Rachael’s @ss. Thank you Kelika looking forward to the next chapter.
