Rau rapped sharply on the Queen of Rhemus’ door.
Rhaina jerked open the door just as Rau prepared to knock again. The sight of the Commander of the Royal Guard looking agitated alarmed her.
“What is it?” She snapped opening the door wide to admit her.
“Commodore Spock said you were distressed and that I should come to you immediately.” Rau examined her anxiously.
“Did he indeed?” Rau understood immediately. “Did he tell you to bed me as well?”
“Majesty!” Rau cried in shock. “No one would dare disrespect the Queen of Rhemus in such a manner and live to tell of it.” Rau responded hotly.
Rau turned away unable to hide the pleasure that she felt in Royal Commander Rau’s presence alone. It was even stronger than the attraction she had for Spock at first sight.
“Majesty, should I leave you?” Rau asked uncertainly. She was surprised by Rhaina’s admission yet knew better than to accept an invitation no matter how desired from royal ones.
“Perhaps you should leave me. I am much too agitated to think clearly and your presence already is distracting me from other concerns.” Rhaina’s irritation was only half-hearted.
“Majesty I am happy to serve you in any manner you require.”
“Any manner Royal Commander?” Rhaina’s brow arched.
“Any manner” Rau returned steadily. Her blood ran hot as Rhaina’s eyes roamed her body.
“Do you offer this level of service to everyone?” Rhaina felt a rush of angry possessiveness that Rau would offer herself so easily to another.
“Majesty, allow me to rephrase my answer. I serve the Crown of Romulus and Rhemus as Commander of the Royal Guard. I will protect and defend your Majesty and the Majesty of Romulus to my last breath. You Majesty I am happy to serve in whatever manner you desire, with pleasure.” Rau said as clearly as she could without overstepping the fragile line that she was in danger of crossing.
“Would it please you to be naked between my thighs in my bed?”
“Only if it would not please you more to be naked between mine, in my bed.” Rau answered. “It has been some time since I was last taken in that manner by a woman capable of drawing that level of need from me.”

ABSOLUTE FREAKING BRILLIANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I’ve just caught up with the last three chapters and all I can say is, BRILLIANT! Their love is so strong and their meld so strong and hot they can not help themselves. Even though Tina did not want a baby just yet, they created one anyway because their love demanded it. I knew you would come up with a novel way for them to have their little one and what a brilliant way you’ve done so. Now I relinquish my title of “daddy.” It belongs totally to you, “O Brilliant One.” This chapter was truly awesome. I bow to you in your absolute brilliance and that oh so wonderfully brilliant mind, forever creative. You should be writing the Star Trek series or is it a new movie, whatever, you should be doing it. Thanks for posting this wonderful story.
Hey K, loved your attention to all the critical relationships in this story. Spock is insightful as always, noticing the deep connection that has developed between his wife and Commander Rau in such a short time. And as a man of action seeking to do something about it. Spock and Kirk…oh well. But Elizabeth and Christina… what a description… such intensity between them…such heat and passion. I love that Christina wanted to jealously preserve her time with Elizabeth and was not quite ready for offspring… but it’s even better that they can’t resist the meld and the impulse to recreate that it produces between them. Thanks so very much for writing. Can’t wait for the next installment. PPS.
