    Awww Danish go on their first date.

    Dana’s Condo 7:00pm

     

    “SHANE?!” Shane swaggered into the brunette’s bedroom and had to suppress a large snigger that was threatening to leave her lips.

    “You called?”

    “I cannot possibly wear this! I look like a whore! And a cheap gay one at that”. That was all it took for Shane to let down her guard and start full on laughing.

     “I’m never trusting your stylist skills again! You were supposed to bring something appropriate! My date with Alice is in an hour and I have to look perfect and you just standing there laughing at me isn’t helping.” Dana let out a loud sigh; she was obviously trying to put a lot of thought into this. Shane took a deep breath and calmed herself walking over to the athlete and placing two hands on her shoulders.

    “Dana just relax ok, I’m sorry, a leather two piece maybe wasn’t one of my better ideas.”

    “You think?!”

    Shane had to chuckle again. Dana was going crazy over what to wear and the lanky brunette thought that having her try this on as a joke would lighten her up and remove the tension building in the condo. She thought wrong. Shane walked over to the closet and removed a pair of black pants and a dazzling deep green silk halter neck top. “Try these on, I think we have a winner”, she replied smirking at the athlete who was still in shock at her current get up.

    “Well it can’t be any worse than this”, Dana said indicating at herself rather dramatically to emphasise her point. Shane sported an amused grin and walked towards the door to give the athlete some privacy. Not five seconds later she popped her head back in.

    “I’m glad you two finally got over yourselves. I’m really happy for ya Dane, you make a great couple.” Dana smiled at her friend’s words and simply nodded at her, thankful for the approval and reassurance.

     

    The door closed properly and Dana was left alone. Somehow she felt calmer as Shane’s words sank in; this was everything she’d wanted. After all these years no more hiding, no having to steal glances when she thought Alice wasn’t looking, no more frustration and anger at the situation. Dana was elated, she couldn’t remember feeling so excited about a date in her entire life and she was going to try her damndest to make this a night to remember.

    10. I’ve been one of the silent readers for the last couple of chapters. I’ve finally got the time to comment and say that this story makes me feel of fuzzy and warm…even with Gabby’s appearance at the end. ;) They are so cute together. Sigh… :D

    14. Oh no she didnt! Gabby step away from Alice. Hopefully Alice wouldnt do something like that to Dana, especially after she just hooked up with her. It was sweet and funny up until the last sentence. Even with that i still loved the update. Cant wait for the next. PPS

    15. Boo Gabby! I think that woman needs a tennis ball to the head. And I know just the girl to do it. All this happy danish is making me want to get them back together in my own story! I’m totally loving this one. Keep it up.
